Can anybody let me know when and where there will be a next meet either in new orleans or baton rouge?? i live in lafayette and i dont see meets like that. i miss it...i used to live in california, where i got my rx8 from and there meets pretty often.
we havent had a big meet in awile but then again there arnt very many of us down here either

so i hit a tire on interstate 12.. and you know, you ALWAYS see tires on the shoulder of interstate 12.. but i guess it was my day, after 5 years of driving on interstate 12, to hit a tire in the middle of the road
the lip came off the bumper of course, both wheel wells are gone, the plastic cover for the radiator is gone, and the radiator is bent.. needs a new bumper too...
beware of tires on interstate 12.. i guess they were too stealth for my xenons lol. 1st time wrecking the rx-8 and second time damaging one of my cars ever

that sucks i feel your pain some ice got me in chicago. and my exhaust is doing a number on the car too

17x9 Bronze 5zigen FNo1r-c 35 ofset. Lug pattern is 5 on a 114.3/4 1/2". About 1 1/2yrs old, all are structurally perfect. Cosmetically not perfect. All have small chips and scratches from autox. Will try to get some good pics that show these in detail when my wife gets home with the good camera.
Tires are Dunlop Star Specs, 255/40. Pretty well done. You can get a few thousand more mile out of them, but they need replaced soon. Still have a lot of stick to them.
I would like Paypal if possible, but not absolutely needed.

Can any of you guys recommend a good audio shop that does good installs? Looking to change out the headunit, rear and door speakers and install an amp (5ch) I usually do the amp and speaker install myself, but I really don't feel like it on this car, rather just let some one else do it. So any recommendations between baton rouge and slidell?

nick at north_shore tint and detail might do it. i know he is trying to get away from it but there usually are a few guys hanging around that are big into car audio that will do it for cheap

Is that the place on hwy 22 next to the boat place? I went there to check price on tint and he didn't have any audio stuff in there. I thnk I might just hook a sub up to the stock system and see how it sounds then go from there

I'm in the process of installing a system in my 09 sport. The Metra kit kind of sucks ***. Does not quite fit down by the ashtray. And the trim pieces around the radio are not too great. Plus the radio is not real secure. Kind shaky and skips easily over bumps. But it was cheap. Only like $45 off of eBay. Don't know if anything else works better.
Have a set of separates for the front doors, one 12 and an amp to put in. Ran power wire, and mounted tweets in the sails last night. I have a long way to go still.
