soooooo i changed my differential fluid today with red line gear fluid.. rear end is smooth as a whistle..

i'm changing my transmission fluid this week. i used royal purple max gear last time, but i've found out some crucial facts since i've changed it. royal purple is 50% GL-4 and 50% GL-5 and supposedly GL-5 fluid makes gears grind and syncrhos tear up. i'm gonna swap it out with redline MT-90

changed out the royal purple max gear transmission fluid with redline MT-90.

royal purple must have down syndrome.

the difference is unbelievable. I now support Redline 100%

The Redline MT-90 that good? Think it will help with my 2nd gear synchro crunch? Grinds as soon as the tranny is heated if I shift (up or down) to 2nd over 34mph.

are you running stock fluid? i'm sure the Redline MT-90 wouldn't hurt. it feels better and better everytime i drive it. i'm not sure if it would help with your 34 mph syncro crunch though. i think 34 mph is at the higher end of the safe limit. royal purple started grinding for me at 25+ mph. i'm back to the 34ish level
