R3.... No thanks. After 2 STIs I'm just not onto goofy wings and body kits anymore. I just don't like the way they look. Or cost. The sports clean lines are more my style. Maybe just getting old.

Bill, car is looking sweet. We'll have parking spots. I believe a few people intend to go out early. I will probably get out there early. I dunno. I need to clean my car next sat. Hit a puddle on a shell road and I have white all over it.

I'm really not too keen on the ground effects. I don't think I could get an R3 in my driveway in its current shape; need to tear up the driveway and put a new one in since part of it sunk and caused a crack and uneven surfaces. There's a small drop after you get over the curb which causes my 04 sport to scrape if I hit it wrong. I like the shocks and stuff on the R3, but the body extras are too much. Plus, I wouldn't even dare drive in Lakeview with an R3. hehe.
I might be driving another sport. Not sure yet. My 04 has a lot of life left in it, so I may see how long I can wait. Only thing about the 04 that is pissing me off is the driver's seat is getting a little ragged.

If you are in warrenty, fight with mazdas until they recover it. Mine is still well within warrenty. But mazda claims its their policy to patch the seat, not to replace the leather......needless to say that wasn't gonna happen. I just kept fighting until the regional rep agreed to replace the leather on the top half of the seat.

Hey,
Is anyone on the South side of the "Pond" going to gather up and caravan to the Lakefront meet on Sunday?
We've tried to meet at the Fox and the Hound the last couple of years, then rod down Clearview, but I'm open to suggestion.

Meet was kewl. You guys left too early though. You should have seen the 3 challengers that drove by. Awesomely cool. I'll have to post pics.
