I killed a tree
You don't EVEN know.
Good thing that one of my ex-girlfriends lives out of state. She could tell you a couple of things. We still talk though and are on good terms, so I guess they aren't that bad.

I watched my 8 get towed today and now I have ANOTHER sad memory of my 8 permanently engraved in my head. The good news? I went to Martin's shop and Gotham Racing today and saw TONS of 7s just lined up outside. That made me feel a little better.
Dazy I know what you mean, I had to drop mine off at the body shop today and it was horrible. Like my kids' first day at Kindergarten... So sad. Now Im riding around in a Chrysler Sebring (not even convertable) little 4 banger POS, but it is brand new with only 160 miles on it.
The check was mailed yesterday but the adjuster doesn't remember how much it was for other than over $3000. I've done some price checking based on what he thinks needs to be replaced and my total is around $4100 so far.
do NOT cash the check until you are sure that the money will cover the work!!!!!!! Once you cash it, they can say that your signature on that check was you agreement to that $$$ and they will not give you anymore. Even though it's your insurance, they still are going to mess with you on the price.
And make sure that all parts are costed out as OEM. That price is almost always higher than after market.

Thanks for the tip. This is my first (and hopefully last) boo-boo so any and all advice is welcomed. I'm not sure if the check is made out to me or the shop, but I was going to get with Martin before I did anything to make sure the insurance company is aware of ALL needed repairs before the major stuff begins.

What do you mean by that?
