Jennifer and I saw your tree Tuesday night after we left rack daddy's. When you told us about what happened, I knew exactly where you must have hit the curb...you're right it is in a bad place, because Jennifer has almost hit it too. I read the above posts, I think that perhaps it was a blessing in disguise (perhaps) because your red-8 will kick some serious *** after it's done. I looking forward to seeing it. btw, we both had a good time and it was nice to meet all of you. It definitely gave me some ideas for my own rx-8 too.

 

hopefully i should be out next week...i had some work business to tend to so i was busy. all the trainers went out for hibachi and sushi so it wasnt a bad loss!

btw, when is your car going to be ready again? also can you summarize what all you've added?

 

Nothing added so far, and she just put it in the shop, it's going to be quite a few weeks.

 

I heard it would be between 4 to 6 weeks before she'll be out terrorizing the woodland animals again.

 

quite a few weeks?? yikes...that's a long time...i know how she feels because I ordered a winning blue rx-8 back on Nov 15th from the factory...they said it would get here the first week of february...but then on Dec 15th, there was that fire. i was...devastated

When it became clear that I wouldn't get one until this summer, that was too much for me. I borrowed a red rx-8 from Hiley for about 30 hours or so and came to an important realization...when driving, it really didn't matter what colour it was. So I bought the last pearl with AT & GT. But waiting was *very* hard.

Thanks. I went up to the shop today and talked numbers and tossed some ideas around. We're doing the MS front, MS side skirts, and Greddy exhaust. The suspension and wheels are still undecided since the car hasn't made it up on the lift yet. Along with the minor mods I'm going to do after it's out, should look very nice.

 

And before I forget--any reds want my side aero flares? They're not damaged and I won't need them with the side skirts.... let me know. I'd rather give them to someone local than do the selling thing to strangers.
