Technically he's responsible for making sure that people get their parts. If he was aware that certain parts on the car were already sold to others, and he took possession of those parts, he's essentially in possession of someone else's property; unless the money has been returned to them. I think it'd be easy to prove given the content of this thread that he knew certain parts belonged to others.

Not saying that's why he's shipping the parts, he's probably doing that because he's a good guy and it's the right thing to do. I'm just saying that even if he wasn't a good guy, that he probably has an obligation to ship them.

Yes, because everything you read on the internet is 100% accurate all the time, and he obviously had undisputed records of each of Dom's transactions to use as a packing list. </sarcasm>

Well, I know of at least one person that posted a copy of their money order receipt, and a tracking # with Dom's info, and he never got the part, nor a refund. I would wager that there are probably a few more people who have posted in this thread that can provide the same information, and a simple PM to them is all a DA would need to get that information. So that's some pretty naive, no !@#$ing STUPID sarcasm there

The analogy two posts above is completely ridiculous. When a person receives money for goods, a transfer of ownership occurs. If a person then buys said goods from the party who does NOT own the goods, they are essentially buying stolen property. Call your local District Attorney's office if you think this isn't true.

It's not his responsibility to research the matter. He is not getting compensated like a DA would be.

When a person receives money for goods, a transfer of ownership occurs.
Actually it happens when the goods are in the other person's hands. Until then, receipt of money without delivery of goods is more along the lines of theft OF THE MONEY/FRAUD, not theft OF THE GOODS which were his to begin with, and remained his to sell to Greddy legally.

If a person then buys said goods from the party who does NOT own the goods, they are essentially buying stolen property.
See above. The issue is between Dom and his buyers, as he STOLE THEIR MONEY.

Call your local District Attorney's office if you think this isn't true.
There you go again...wanting us to do more footwork that is not our responsibility. Why don't you jump on the horn and find out for us all, there, big boy?

Your argument falls apart since it was revealed that there were several instances where dom sold the same part to multiple people.

Then he's an accessory to FRAUD, if he didn't do the right thing and send the stuff/refunds out.

I'm not a stakeholder here, so I really don't care enough to do any footwork. Just merely pointing out the obvious.

confusing, this is.... rest i must!

So ya, Dom HAS the money for refunding so if there is no success in you guys getting your refunds within a week or so then i will simply not be paying the rest of what i owe him... why give more money to him if hes not holding up his side of the deal just so he can pocket it and leave me with the troubles... NOPE

Worse case i will have to use that money to send the parts out myself but some of the trouble is that the parts people paid for are either not there or have been bought by more than one person.... geez

so say someone steals my car today.... sells every single part on it... gets the money... then i retrieve my car back. I should ship everyone who paid for parts of my car their orders?

I bought the car for ME and noone else. Items ive shipped out have been paid for to me. Dom probably stole the car in the first place anyways... you dont see anyone going to the original owner of the car asking for money do you? And if i were to sell the car to someone else the way it is now, keeping all the parts left and just giving them a shell, are you going to ask the new owner to pay for the parts i kept? No because they paid for what they got not what everyone else wanted.

No offense intended just dont take DA threats lightly... Dom is the criminal so take it up with him... obviously noone really cares to. If you wanna set a court date up and invite me, great. Maybe i can get some money out of him too.

Bastage no offense buddy but we dont need you to point out the obvious because it is, well, obvious. Dom is a criminal with a lot of stolen money. If you think everyone just doesnt care maybe you should talk to them. If you have a problem that I or anyone here can help you with then let us know. If your "friend" has the same issue and hasnt followed up on it regularly than him/her probably isnt too concerned with the matter. My PM box is always clear. Good day!

Not making threats or pointing fingers, again, just pointing out the obvious, and it's obviously not obvious to some people. WOW...

the easiest thing for anyone involved in this fubar is to call whatever financial institution they used and start a fraud complaint on it. If you're out money then you should take at least that one step to try and get it back.

Dom is obviously a low life POS and karma is a bitch.

well, by gauging his intelligence level, I would have to say taking back your money at this point would be hard, since its pretty old, and he probably doesn't have a bank account at the moment

Has any one heard from Dom since the car left his possession? I have posted to him, called the number I got (which was his friend's cell) and have kept up with the postings, but no reply. I'm not trying to sound simplistic, just hoping that some one out there reads this and can establish the whereabouts of Mr. Dom.
