Why would I bother? Educating you does nothing for my bottom line or well being.
You can feel free to sign up for my seminar next time it comes around, but I'm pretty sure most of it would be totally over your head.

When I am physically in the same room with the car, an FI tune can take several hours, depending on how good the mechanical setup is. In that situation, each edit takes about 15 minutes.
When I do an e-tune, I spend about 20 minutes to a half-hour on each iteration. On a properly setup car, it takes 6 to 10 iterations.
I do a fair amount of double-checking on the e-tunes.

Tomorrow, I have 2 FI RX-8s, an NA RX-8 and a Speed3 up here in Portland.
It will probably take all of the 8 hours to complete this, but it might only take 5 hours or so if both FI RX-8s are perfectly setup.
Dear Jeff,
I wrote to you several times to know if there has been some troubles with the e-mail, I'm still waiting for the FIRST map, or is it normal that I sent to you my log on the 14th of September and I haven't received nothing yet?
I would like to know the reason why after many emails I wrote I still don't have the answer...as per me there are many other RX8Tribe.com users.
I think this behavior is not correct and professional, due to the fact that you have enough time to reply here.
I would like a reply, for being reassured, or better for receiving my map.

I hope, in your respons...here

Thank's

OK not revive an older topic but I thought it better than to start an entirely new one regarding MM.

I have an AP. I want my car tuned but I am apprehensive about ordering MM's service when I see threads like this or that turbo kits have not been delivered yet paid for multiple years ago. Are there any other options for someone to tune my car with an AP? If not and Jeff has difficulty keeping on top of tunes, is my damn AP useless?

Hey Ray. Phil and I have discussed it before and Jeff has always given him great service. I also have met Jeff on a few occasions and have no issues with him regardless of others here in Vegas.

But I am not Phil. Phil has invest mountains of money into his car and Jeff's services. I'm just looking for a tune map which would most likely put me in the same category as everyone else. I am just trying to weigh my options.

Is Jeff my only real option for AP tuning?

I can vouch for BHR's amazing service..It feels great to go through a business that actually knows the product inside and out..They seem to have a decent sense of humor sometimes too..

I had hoped those moments were the best examples you would have needed.
I have absolutely valued and appreciated BHR's advice. Nor did I seek to blemish BHR's reputation. I am inquiring about options to Jeff and HIS AP service, not BHR's AP service.

My apologies if I shouldn't have asked.

Good luck getting them to understand this. You can see my attempts in a few other threads. If you go against the grain certain members attack you and act like there is only one way.
(facepalm)

There are a million ways to do anything. Some are easier than others.

spoken like someone with very little Renesis or AccessPort experience, let alone in comparison to MoTeC data on the Renesis.

Again a 13B-REW is not a Renesis and your insisting that it is only loudly shouts out your lack of Renesis experience. The only grain you're going against is talking out of your tailpipe with nothing Renesis related to back it up. What you've done on a 13B-REW with or without a MoTeC is irrelevant. You seemed to have mistakenly assumed that nobody here has the nose for what it is you're spreading about. The ECU is not what is holding a Renesis back from the same *sustainable*super high output levels of the prior 13B engines.

Talk is cheap so take your dollar store Renesis advice back to RX7Club where they don't know any better.

I do not know MazdaManiac or never bought a product or service from him. However, I have read several complaints mostly for delaying a tuning service etc.

What is my opinion on this:

I strongly believe that MazdaManiac will provide to any customer the service that was sold. It may take some time but he will deliver after all. Why taking so long? Because there are so many tunes that he has to make and he is one guy. Just be reasonable and think if it is possible in few days to cover all the markets.

As a result, you should keep in mind that you may have a delay so you should be prepared accordingly.

So I think that creating a thread commenting on a delay will not have any effect on the delivery. Just call the guy or send him an email.

He should be answering to all emails because there must be a way that a customer to contact the supplier. Customers are not like “fire and forget” they need to have a contact with the business. I know that sometimes an answering email may take some time BUT it must arrive.
