Angry Crappy service with RX7 Store

I ordered the Unorthodox Pulley Kit from RX7Store.net on the 10th this month. They said it would take about 5 days to get the product and ship it, that was onthe 12th. About a week later (around the 19th) I called to check on my order and they said it wouldn't be getting there for another week and then they would ship it. I emailed them back to get an estimated date and the only reply I got was that if I wanted to cancel my order I could. It took them another 2 days just to email me and tell me that. I said screw it and cancelled my order out of pure frustration. I ordered my pulleys from modacar.com on wed. last week and I will have them on Monday now. Has anyone else had similar problems with rx7store?

A simple search on this forum would have told you that it's common.

I've only ordered one thing from them and it took forever to receive.

I normally give the benefit of the doubt, but it appears to be 50/50 if it's delivered on time or not. I guess they don't have much in stock? *shrug*

Did you get an email from me about your order? I had a couple people order these from me and I sent email out letting them know I was out of these. I give the customer the option of canceling and ordering elsewhere if I dont have it so I dont have to hear people bitch that I didnt let them know what was going on. I think that is the fair thing to do.

I ship a 1000 items a month around the world with very few issues. I actually ship a ton of RX-8 parts a month and rarely get negative feedback. **** does happen but I try to keep in contact with customers and let them know whats going on.

^I rarely and should not here the case where owners of a business directly / indirectly saying that they are *bitching* even if they are. A complaint is a complaint. Dont get me wrong, i havent done any business with you yet, but saying that someone is bitching doesnt please a customer. I hope you would agree.

Sounds like some customer service issues. BTW Jason, you as the vendor need to watch the profanity. Cuss all you want in your shop, but I believe when you are trying to resolve issues you need to check the profanity and attitude at the door. Just my "customer service driven" opinion.

I meant the word bitch as complain and shouldve used that instead.

It just aggravates me that I do what I can to keep in contact with customers, letting them know whats going on and giving them the option of ordering elsewhere if I dont have it and they still find away to complain. I can see if I never responed to emails or cant be reached on the phone, then that is grounds for negative feedback.

Jason, I'm not here to try and say your business or products suck all around. I just think you should have a little more customer SERVICE. You did try to let me know what was going on, and it could be my impatience however a dealer of any kind has to take a customers impatience in stride. All I was saying was that I didnt recieve very good service and wanted to voice my opinion. I didnt even get an email regarding my cancellation yet. Also whether you need my business or not, I am not saying I would never deal with you again, but first impressions are lasting impressions.

I know you had to let some pride down to come back and say that, which I thank you for. I'm glad we have this good guy/bad guy section so we can all better understand the customer/business relationship.

BigRed you were spot on. Using the words "customers bitching" was a mistake. A mcuh bigger mistake was his lame attempt above at trying to justify himself and his poor judgement. Grow up, ur not just a forum member dealing with another forum member, you are a business, as such you are held at a much higher standard. The above reply is enough to solidify my decision to never order anything from rx7store. Now, had you replied in a much more mature, professional manner it may have been different.
