Schumacher in one of his "my ***** are bigger than yours" moments:
I love how he went out for another lap just to show that fighting against his qualifying time was useless.

Meanwhile in New Jersey...

Despite rumours claiming that New York's F1 race could be delayed until 2014, work is well underway and organisers are still targeting a 2013 event.
Our picture shows a specially equipped Porsche Cayenne camera car which was recently employed for on-track filming of a video to promote the race at
the site of the Grand Prix of America at Port Imperial in Weehawken and West New York, New Jersey.
With the fabulous New York City skyline in the background, the Porsche approaches the top of the Palisades as the 3.2-mile track climbs more than 165 feet above the Hudson River.
Construction on garages and pits has already begun, agreements have been finalized with the cities of Weehawken and West New York and track engineering including pavement and course testing has been conducted.
In just 14 months, 24 cars will be racing on this street circuit at speeds approaching 220 mph, a prospect that thrill F1 fans not only in the USA - which will now have two races - but worldwide.

Bahrain GP2 race watched by 12 fans
more at: http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpa...s_art_id=46181
Just 12 fans turned out for the GP2 Feature Race at Sakhir on Friday, less than a week after Bahrain was the focus of global attention
When the F1 circus left town last Sunday, Bahrain dropped out of the headlines almost overnight, the media, like the sport, appearing to move on to pastures new, in F1's case Mugello and then Barcelona. However, with a further round of the GP2 Series taking place just a few days later, meaning that participants had to hang around in the Gulf state for another week, it was surprising that there was so little concern as to their safety considering the speculation over the F1 event.

Damn, Desmond! How tall are you? I'm asian and 6'2 and I fit pretty comfortably. With a helmet it is hard and I have to recline way more than my normal position. That is without the moonroof too!

Mercedes 'close to quitting F1'
NOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1/...o-quitting-F1-
Just a month after the team's maiden grand prix victory since its return to the sport in 2009 as a fully-fledged competitor, it has been claimed that the Brackley-based operation 'could be forced out' over a dispute about the composition of the sport's ruling body in the wake of Formula 1's proposed Stock Exchange floatation.
'Mercedes, which is estimated to have spent more than £1 billion on grand-prix racing in the past two decades, is on the verge of quitting Formula One as the company is denied a seat in the new boardroom that will control the sport when a Stock Exchange float is completed,' reported the newspaper on Monday.
'Red Bull, the relative newcomers to grand-prix racing, and Ferrari have both been promised boardroom places by Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One's chief executive, as he lines up a float that could value Formula One at up to £6 billion.'
The report continues: 'Mercedes, who registered their first win of the modern era in China only last month, have been isolated with McLaren, their former partners, also being handed a place.'
The report also asserts that the ruling regime of Bahrain is set to win a place on the board of the new company controlling the sport. The Times was critical of the recent Bahrain GP and urged the grand prix's cancellation.
The Times goes on to claim the exit of Mercedes from F1 could result in the loss of 1000 jobs and wipe 20 per cent off F1's floatation valuation.
Mercedes have yet to comment on the report.

F1: Schumacher World’s Second-Richest Sportsman

Mercedes has played down reports it is considering quitting Formula One over the proposed terms of the next Concorde Agreement.
On Monday the Times reported that Mercedes is on the verge of quitting because, unlike rivals Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren, it has not been offered a seat on F1's board after the sport floats on the stock exchange.

F1: Schumacher World’s Second-Richest Sportsman
Michael Schumacher has been pipped at the post in the race to be the world's richest sportsman.
According to the Sunday Times' annual listings, the seven-time World Champion's (US) $823 million in career earnings is beaten only by golf legend Tiger Woods.
American Woods has earned $869 million in his own ultra-successful career, the newspaper found.
And the Sunday Times said the pair have each earned hundreds of millions of dollars more than other high-earning sportsmen, including Michael Jordan ($516m), Roger Federer ($316m) and David Beckham ($258m).
F1's two other representatives, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen, were way down the top-20 list, with their respective earnings at about $161 million apiece.

Hamilton takes pole in España. This race should be quite good. Maldonado should be interesting to watch from p2p on the grid. We all know how much love there is between him and Lewis. Alonso is often very strong in starts and may be very dangerous from p3. Grosjean and Kimi have shown very strong race pace in the past and McLaren has been unimpressive with their pitiful pit stops and mediocre tire management. Of course Button and Webber will have more fresh tires and can adopt different strategies.
Should be a great race.
Paul.

Lewis Hamilton has been stripped of his pole position and will start from the back of the grid at Sunday's Spanish
Grand Prix after failing to return to the pits under his own power at the end of Q3.
Hamilton stopped on track at turn nine after setting his pole position time, breaking Article 6.6.2 of the sport's technical regulations
that requires cars to return to the pits to give a fuel sample. McLaren argued that he stopped for reasons of force majeure because
a team member failed to fuel his car sufficiently, but the FIA rejected that explanation saying: "As the amount of fuel put into the car
is under the complete control of the competitor the stewards cannot accept this as a case of force majeure."
