Indeed, I cannot wait to start gloating when Ferrari are losing. Although they do look strong right now ... but that can change

Well his speed was that of a number #2 also

Here are some examples of just how bad it can go in an F1 career. The worst careers in history. Strangely enough, Nelson Piquet Jr did not fit the bill.

Then again, Piquet did manage a "lucky safety car" second place so he has stood on the podium.

Why does nelson think, we care what he thinks. I wish the dude would just disappear. Its not like I read up anything about NASCAR.

Nelson Piquet does not rule out returning to formula one at some point in the future.

The former Renault driver, ousted by Flavio Briatore last year prior to the crashgate scandal, made his debut in American stock car racing at the weekend at Daytona, as did Danica Patrick.

But the 24-year-old told Switzerland's Motorsport Aktuell that he is not committed to the entire season in the USA, although it is a possibility.

"I have all sorts of plans, and am keeping my eyes and ears open," he said
in an interview.

"Let's see what I find to drive. In December in finished just behind Michael Schumacher at the kart world championships in Las Vegas.

"I am also working on a deal to go to Le Mans with a GT2 Ferrari," said Piquet, whose next outing will be in the NASCAR Truck Series.

Asked specifically about F1, Piquet answered: "Who knows. But this year, formula one is in a bit of a muddle, with all these teams but no one knowing whether they will be there or not.

"It reminds me more of GP2," he added.

Would he just shut up already. No one wants to take him in Formula 1. Perhaps NASCRAP don't want him either as he finished what, 27th? And causing an accident bumping into Danica Patrick?

Danica is a better driver than him.

I don't think LeMans would want him in enduros as he can't stay on the track for more than 10 laps in F1.

Force India just released photos of their new car. Looks kick ***!

Interesting lower wing set up. They have a relatively smaller diffuser compared to other cars, but I think this is a very optimized set-up.

Finally Lotus reveals their car for 2010

During its brief shakedown test on Silverstone's short Stowe circuit in the hands of Malaysian test driver Fairuz Fauzy, the car was secretly photographed.

As expected, it features a livery that harks back to the famous marque's iconic dark green and gold past.

Also notable are the sponsor logos of Proton, Malaysian tourism, the Tune Group and Naza Corporation, but not team boss Tony Fernandes' airline AirAsia.

Team chief executive Riad Asmat indicated to the Star newspaper that more sponsors could be unveiled at Friday's official launch.

"You can see from the livery of the car who will be supporting us. It will be a mix of Malaysian and international sponsors," he told the Malaysian publication.

Technical boss Mike Gascoyne told BBC Sport that the car's debut revealed "no major issues".

"The Stowe circuit is not much bigger than a go-kart track and on a cold February afternoon when it's snowing intermittently you are never going to learn much about the handling of the car," he said.

"But we got a good number of laps on it and we did all the systems checks so we can run in anger (next week) in Jerez."

Asmat again denied rumours that, like USF1 and Campos, Lotus is also struggling to be ready for the Bahrain season opener next month.

"We will be there on the grid in Bahrain," he said. "There is no question about it."

Breaking News, RED BULLt car breaks down, on the first day lol.

Smiles turned to consternation in the Red Bull garage on Wednesday after the RB6 was launched in the pitlane.

After a mostly wet morning at the wheel of the new Renault powered car, Mark Webber had to walk back to the pits after it broke down with an oil leak.

The team said the stoppage was actually "precautionary", and Australian Webber also played down the problem as being "nothing major".

The RB6 is clearly an evolution of the highly competitive 2009 car, but its double diffuser is clearly new, as the rear device was carefully covered during the launch.

Also notable was the presence of the former Renault sponsor Pepe Jeans on the livery.

Sebastian Vettel, watching on from the pitwall on Wednesday, said he is yet to give the car a personal name, after last year's RB5 was humorously called 'Kate's Dirty Sister' because it was faster than the 2008 car, 'Kate'.

Webber was yet to set a front-running time by the time of the oil leak.

Mercedes' Nico Rosberg was consistently quick throughout the opening morning of the Jerez test, ahead of the Toro Rosso (Sebastien Buemi) and Williams (Nico Hulkenberg) cars.

Fernando Alonso was fourth quickest for Ferrari, ahead of Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber).

Jenson Button's new McLaren was featuring a bizarre and huge sensor attached to one side of the cockpit, but the British team said it did not indicate an aerodynamic problem.

Tonio Liuzzi gave Force India's VJM03 its proper test debut, and at the time of writing, Timo Glock had only just exited the pits at the wheel of the new Virgin

By the way, Polo. The testing times mean nothing. I just want you to know so you don't go and cry now.

When Ferrari was in top in the testing you were so happy, so these results must be so disappointing. But really, it is OK Polo. These times mean nothing until the first race.

Lap Times February 11, 2010

Pos. Driver Car Best Time Laps
1. Kamui Kobayashi Sauber C29 1:19.950 103
2. Sebastien Buemi Toro Rosso STR5 1:20.026 121
3. Jenson Button McLaren MP4-25 1:20.618 83
4. Nico Hulkenberg Williams FW32 1:20.629 67
5. Tonio Liuzzi Force India VJM03 1:20.754 80
6. Michael Schumacher Mercedes W01 1:21.083 124
7. Fernando Alonso Ferrari F10 1:21.424 129
8. Robert Kubica Renault R30 1:22.003 103
9. Mark Webber Red Bull RB6 1:22.043 99
10. Timo Glock Virgin VR-01 1:29.964 11

The Virgin Racing car dropped its front wing and had no spare, so they never had time to do a proper quick lap hence the 7 second difference.
