Hmm. Actually if you just left it alone and let me speak my mind just like others, then things would be alright. I simply said you can't polish a turd and you freak. You accuse me of turning against others so I simply stated that I have a right to comment. You refuse to see logic. End of discussion.

Steiner, I guess AL from Dynoflash is paying a visit to Milwaukee in mid Feb., do you think I should just meet up with him or take the 3 hour roundtrip drive to AMS before then?

Insanely Yellow
Ike - enjoy the ride. At least you got rid of the car that sounds like a lawn tractor for a ridiculously fast car that sounds good. Can't say I'm an EVO fan to the point where I'd ever buy one, and visually I can't get the train station car out of the hot rod, but the laps I did on an autocross track with one about 18 months ago showed me how insanely quick that beast is. I think if I had to drive one daily, especially on frost/salt damaged midwestern roads I'd need to be fitted with a new spine - that is the hardest riding car I've ever driven, ever. Even worse than the track-prepped Formula Dodges I drove at Skip Barber a few years back.
But, as i said, enjoy the ride you've chosen.

Rowdy...weren't you that middle aged man contemplating an STi a few weeks ago?
AMS definately. Gruppe-S had one of Al's street tuned Evos in recently and were not impressed. They were able to extract significantly more power on a safer AFR with lower octane gas. Al blamed all sorts of stuff when they posted the results but nothing explained it adequately. Taking AMS over Dynoflash is just my opinion though. I believe AMS will do a more thorough job because they have a lot of DSM history and knowledge. Ask around though. I've never had a first hand experience with either tuner.

Probably not. Unless the usual lifespan is in the seventies.

Now that all said, Ike, Rowdy does have a point here, although his tact leaves much to be desired - you do tend to be very negative to folks, and he was just applying a bit of it back, though with all the finesse of a cheese fry fart.
