MAZMART 13B vs 600 hp Corvette
I'd be interested to know which car did the quickest lap times . The Vette was slowing the 7 down in some parts of the track but the 7 couldn't get past due to being out gunned on the straights .
Cheers for that .
In light of that I would say that Bob did a pretty good job holding Jeff out . Although I know it would be really hard for Jeff to make a pass stick he would have put a lot of pressure on Bob to run a flawless race .
Props to the RX-7 driver, he is obviously very good. That being said, without knowing the setups of the two cars its very hard to evaluate how big a difference between the drivers is. The Corvette certainly appears to have a significant power advantage on the RX-7. It's ludicrously simple to extract power out of the LSx motors, so stock block guys can make 550 rwhp with cams/headers.
Man that engine sound great .. back to back to back engine sounded perfect and strong, wow that video had me in my toes,, my 3 year old daughter just sat and watch the video with out saying a word,,,, that lets you know you got her attention, and she hears engine noise all the time, Sat Monster Jam Sunday , Import face off, Some Nice rotaries their, and she sat down threw the whole video, Nice skills and nice car too, I want an egine like that for my rX3..
This is a full race 2011 SCCA RX-7 that we build engines for. All R&D including dyno work for this car is done here at Mazmart by Rick Engman. The Corvette is making around 600 rwhp. The RX-7 driver is Jeff Dernehl of Roswell Outback Automotive in Roswell GA. He owns the car and fabricates most everything on it. He generally kicks *** and has been breaking track records throughout the US.

Simply amazing... I would love this in my track car.
Could i ask very nicely... for the specs of the engine?
The description on Youtube only says 13B PPort, i'm guessing NA? Based on a Renesis?
I can't believe it's not been asked.
Are we allowed to know the power now it's a 6 year bump?
Do you get many requests to build similar specs?
Thanks.
