i dont care how much is real- what looks real to me is that there are 2 Shinari's. That means they intend to show it in auto shows whose dates might be to close together for shipping it around. So we will probably see them touring different continents.

Yeah, alot of the video is CG, but some of it is real. Like when it's in traffic on city streets. Just watch the pedestrian's People are glued to it.
...and those shots prove it's a functioning car. Granted, not the final powertrain or suspension, but still, functioning car. Which is a hell of alot closer to production than most concepts are.
I sent Mazda a ~2 page email basically begging them to make it, and included a link to this thread.

WWP no longer exists..it is CWP..
And most of the Vid is "fake", but well done...look at in in HD, some of the driving shots look real (not the white one) but at the end., and I said "some", but sorry I am leaning to 90% done on a PC and green screen...eh!

if you look @ the overhead shots the car really doesn't seem that big, especially the hood, seems much shorter than in the stills.
P.S. Mazda, if you are reading this, I want.
NOW.

Huge hole is huge
Why hello Sally. Why don't you come on over here to finish of that sentence.
Wait, what?!
On topic: This car is VERY sexy, but if they are planning it to be a 6, the looks seem to be too..."Different" for the casual buyer, IMO. I could easily be wrong.

Interesting. in this video for awhile i was getting a strong Mazda 3 vibe then i started thinking of it more like a Mazda2. At 1:/1:41 they flash the Kiyora overlay on it which was a Bsegment/future "city car" Mazda2 concept.

Haha your Bimmer may be fit and finish inside but it had a hard time keeping up with us in the corners on the Root Beer Cruise we took haha... And yes I know you have 300 hp/ft.lbs torque... Car&Driver, Road&Track and Motortrend have been reporting a decent amount of understeer in the 1 series and recently the 3 series... I just recieved my monthly C&D in the mail and it was a best handling comp.* * meaning cars under $100K, lol and the Mazda RX-8 beat the BMW M3. The 8 got 3rd (Nearly 2nd, only 1 point below the Lotus, 213 to 212, this amazes me because the Lotus is a 2 seater weighing 2000lbs, its crazy how our car, 1000lbs heavier with 2 more seats almost handles better) while the M3 got 4th...
In other news this excites me, I will be getting out of college around 2015-2016 so this is perfect, makes me wait a year or two after it comes out. Enough time to keep a steady job, and let Mazda work out the kinks that arise...

I didn't even have 2000 miles on the car at the time of that cruise
My RX-8 wouldn't have kept up with you either, considering the nearly bald rear tires and the fact that the slave cylinder is shot.

plus I just got back from chicago, 7 day trip, and one of my sisters got married. wedding was awesome..
Either way.. yea.. i miss the car clubs.
i really enjoyed coming home to my cars after a full week of Hyundai Santa Fe and then Ford Edge driving.
I hate to admit this, but Hyundai builds a decent little car. The fact that they're going to be competing w/BMW, Mercedes and Audi before Mazda is quite saddening.
