Since we're throwing around general, biased statements I'll just go ahead and add this one:
Nissan makes such fast cars. Mazda makes such slow cars.
Hmm, mine didn't turn out quite as poetic as yours. Guess I'll have to work at it.

The way the headlights with the front bumper reminds me of some sad anime character with tusks. It's lighter, smaller, and more powerful so it more than makes up for that. I hope when the next RX is released that it's back to the 2800lbs category that with the 250hp they estimate, hopefully it's an accurate guess in HP and not overestimated. Maybe they should experimate with higher compressions if they haven't already.

That doesn't look near as bad as the Road & Track pic. I like the rear roofline (I see more original Datsun Z) and look at how much that rear fender bulges out. Nice. From what I can tell the fangs are better represented here. I still don't know about the headlights...

Still ugly, hints of previous Z cars in the sheet metal here and there, the design is nothing new or ground breaking. Like somebody mentioned in the article,we need to go back to the Z32 style and build upon that design. A smaller, lighter ,faster and uglier 350Z , whoop-dee-doo

If I only needed two seats I'd already have a 350z and be looking to the 370.
Good looking, fast, reasonably priced and handles reasonably well. I also don't consider the 300lb difference between the RX8 and 350z to be a big deal, the 370 completely negates it. Good for Nissan, more competition is always welcome.

Hope it gives Mazda a better idea of what they'll have to do to 1-up 'em in '11 or '12 with the next RX. It won't be hard to get a better looking ride out there but it'll be tough to get one with that nice set of numbers on paper.
