Engine oil used is most important to the renesis or rather, the rotary engine. And pls "LOOT" the engine to clear carbon. If not, prepare for major overhaul....
But having said that "LOOT" doesnt means speeding or drive dangerous. juz noe when to do the right things at the right time.

does driving in neutral and reving it until it redlines count as trying to eliminate carbon deposits or do you acutally have to be in motion? if so, would this also work if i was in Park and rev'd it until it redlines?

Hi,
Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have newbie question as well.
I understand from reading this thread that redlining when the 8 is Park or Neutral will no help at all and may even cause more carbon build up.
In that case, what effects does it have if redlining the 8 at individual gear levels?
Or is there a recommended gear levels to redline the 8?
If i redline at low gear, i can maintain low speed and make a lot of noise on the road.
if I redline at high gear, I may get the traffic Police on my tail....haha.
Please advise.
