any1 has this problem whenever you apply brake to slow down...??? cos my ride is onli 4 weeks old....

some more details would be handy, like what kids of sound, ie metal on metal, squealing, tapping, etc etc

yah wat type of sound?
if metal scrapping sound shld be brake pad running out.
but you ride is quite new so unlikely...

can find a safe place and drive at about 100km/h then press the brake hard (not slam the brake) for few times. Or, send to the workshop, remove the brake pads and use sand paper to smoothen the pads' surface. But normally should send back to the dealer and ask them to get it done cuz still under warranty.

Taking it to a dealer is probably the best option but bedding brakes based on an unknown symptom is unadvisable and possible unnecessary.

I experienced sharp screeching sound coming from my front brake too especially when applying brake on a down slope or coming to a halt at traffic light.....whent to service twice at Mazda but problem still there

High temperature brake pad got screeching sound...... Mazda original does that....

changed mine to autoexe, still the same.
til now, no cure for it.
just have to live with it.

most, if not all, sports brake pads have screeching sound at one point or another....

The screeching sound is unavoidable, unfortunately... including the mazda original pads...

other than screeching sound, i dun tink there should be other sounds coming from the brakes..

That's not a problem..... Use a 300 degree C brake pad, n realize how awful it is, if you don't like the screeching sound...
