I dont think anybody is answering because they dont know how to answer in a nice way or they dont think the question deserves an answer.

The design makes no sense. Having 4 small oppenings instead of 1 large will result in a reduction in available airflow.

Even if you could flow more air with that throttle body, there is no need for it. The throttle body has never been shown to have any measurable restriction in the intake system. If you beleive that the stock throttle body is restritive, Brian at BDC can port and polish your stock throttle body or sell you one and you send him your as a core.

I just find it hard to believe no additional cooling is required.

I will help here.

Additional cooling required? NO, recommended for warm climents or for spirited driving, Yes. Required for track use, Yes.

Any time you add additional power and especialy with adding FI and an intercooler blocking radiator airflow, you will need additional cooling for extended high loads. Its simple, more power equals more heat. However, if like most people, you will just use the extra power to accelerate onto the freeway or from light to light, the stock system will be just fine.

If you do upgrade the coolign system, a water pump, modified fan turn on points and a secondary radiator are the best things you can do.

f you do a top mount intercooler, you can get away without the secondary radiator.

Stock oil coolers work well for most people.

My problem is I made an assumption...That anyone who owns a Rotary (on this forum) usually spend 90% of the time with the accelorator pedal attached to the firewall. Not to mention I've seen tons of people demonstrating possible cooling issues on an NA setup. So considering the above and the fact that rotaries naturally run hot I deduced with limited information that an upgrade to cooling was necessary.

Either way I will need to get this done due to my future track day plans.

I'm still waiting on my kit to arrive. Gotta call them tomorrow and see an estimated date. Damn ball bearing turbo was on back order. As soon as I get it, I will make a build thread and have tons of pics to show it.

Thumbs up Compatible with Automatic Transmission models?

Hello,

Are any of your Esmeril turbo kits compatible with Automatic Transmission models?

Also, when in the future do you think you'll have the different intake piping to work properly with the COBB Access port?

I'm very interested in purchasing your kit.

Thank you,
Mark

We have contacted mwall and taken care of the missing item. His emails were not getting through for some reason.

A MAF pipe will be shipped out today.

Best regards,

Chris

why dont you guys change your email provider already, was that so hard? how many years do you need to have continual issues before someone thinks of this? Of course it can and will always still happen occasionally, but when its a pattern, even a thin one, it would be in your best interest as a business to address that I would think

So it seems .... This is a negative factor for those interested to go the esmeril way ... Seeing that late replies,or no repilies at all, someone starts thinking negatively ....

do not buy anything from esmeril racing or mazdaparts.com!!! I gave them $3,500 through pay pal, had a family emergency and needed a refund, and it took them 2 months to get me $1,500. I am still waiting for my $2,000 and the money was transferred in april of this year!!! Please do not make the same mistake i did, and do not buy from them! I am currently in the process of getting my money back through the legal system.

This customer ordered a kit and after a few months canceled it. We initiated a refund. If there is something that remains unresolved please PM me so we can take care of it...we have not heard of this until today.

As for the guy who received one box...there is two boxes for each turbo kit! Please PM me as they were in the same shipment and should have arrived together!

As for one of our retailers (MP.com) they receive thousands of emails a day and are in the process of switching owners who plan on overhauling the site to prevent communication delays (like a customer management system built in instead of just email comm.). I will have the new owner introduce herself once all the changes are made as she wants the site to have a presence on the forum.

Best Regards,

Chris
