I was also promised "refund payment initiated" this week, which means I should receive my refund by? I replied with my correct paypal address, the one you sent is not correct.

I just realized I hand't updated this thread.

Everything having to do with the shipping issues have been cleared up and the remaining refund to the other forum member has been sent.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Chris

Yes, I recieved $1300 out of $2000 yesterday... Only 7 months late. The other $700 will make a nice Christmas present for someone I guess. Very dissatisfied, this should have been resolved a long time ago, with no "20% non-refundable charge" that just magically shows up on mazdaparts.com's website AFTER I request a refund for a kit that wasn't even built

This post is genuinely dishonest. As you can see by utilizing the Internet Archive's cache system found here: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php Mazdaparts.com's return policy has been around long before your order & cancelation.

You can see in the archive the site's return policy has remained the same and then if you go to the individual items such as our Esmeril Racing turbo kit you can see the 20% cancellation fee is clearly displayed in April of 2010, a year before your order.

It's really unfortunate to have to get to this level of detail in public but we cannot allow inaccurate statements like this to happen without our response.

Best regards,

Chris

Well to be honest with you and everyone else, this has been the only consitant communication since I requested a refund. Other than publicly discrediting your company, there is absolutely no other way to contact you or whoever runs Mazdaparts.com now. Speaking about being genuinely dishonest, in our entire conversation about starting a payment plan, there was no mention what-so-ever of a cancellation fee. It was also explained and confirmed that when my total amount paid reaches $4,000 my kit will BEGIN to be built and AT THAT POINT will incur a 20% non-refundable charge if cancellation were to occur. My total was $3,500. Would you like to explain why there was a bulk purchase prior to the $4,000 mark and how everyone's money was "tied up" as soon as it was sent? I was also promised that the remaining $700 could be used as credit for future purchases, are you going to withhold that from me as well?

I agree 100% that it says "at $4000.00 your kit will be built" (this has nothing to do with cancellation or refunds, it is so that the kit is finished by the time the buyer finishes payment)...However, building means everything has to be in our warehouse by then so obviously we will order things earlier.

Bottom line is that we have effected a full refund per our policy and also proven that the policies were published long before your purchase...any ongoing discussions on the subject are unnecessary. We will not spend any more energy on this subject.

Best regards,

Chris

Lightbulb I shouldn't have sold my Greddy Bolt On Kit for so Cheap!

Man.. I sold my Greddy Kit for cheap so I can get a "decent" turbo kit for my 2005 A/T RX-8. I was looking forward to a boost in fun factor as the only thing the car is missing is that little oomph!

Darn! I was hoping to go with esmeril because their work looked precise and legit. However, it seems that there is a lot of trouble going on in trying to acquire a kit.

So, at this point, what are my options? I want to keep the car, but I just miss boosting!

Warm regards,
Mark

Thumbs up I'd like to do a review on your standard kit for COBB Accessport

Hello,
I'd like to do a review on your kit. I will install it on a 2005 A/T RX-8 Grand Touring / Sport Suspension Package vehicle.

I see that you have it for 3995, but at the shop it's over 4k..

What else do I need to complete the install? I plan to use the stock exhaust for now and upgrade later. I just want to test your kit to see real world results with a complete bolt on solution without changing things like exhaust.

Please let me know. Will be ready to purchase A.S.A.P.

Best regards,
Mark

p.s. Please PM me if you have a special going on for someone to do a thorough and honest review on your kit.

Aimed at potential Greddy customers, this kit allows you to surpass numbers that the Greddy turbo kit can only dream of while spending no more. It provides excellent drivability and instant boost giving the RX-8 that much needed torque at the lower end of the power band.

This is the perfect turbo kit for Autocross with a fat torque curve and lots of area under the curve from 2500rpm to redline.

We looked at the market and saw a need for an entry level turbo kit with the following criteria:
  • 280-350whp capable out of the box.
  • Easily upgradeable to the HP kit (Coming Soon!).
  • Cobb accessible with adapter kit (Coming Soon!).
  • Greddy competitive pricing.
  • Super quick spooling, 2000-2500rpm.
  • Good power band in the upper RPM range (lots of area under the curve).
  • Based on the same great platform as our original HP Kit.
  • Garrett turbocharger.

We are offering this kit at a price of $3995.00!!!! Unheard of!

For more information and to purchase click here:

PM, Email for more info.

Thanks for looking!

wow

so after going over all these posts, it seems to me that not only is there a lack of communication but there also seems to be a lack of actual dyno results. with no pics, no actual dyno results, and the fact that so many people have had problems, i dont see how this is a good option. let me know if anyone at all has received their kit and is happy with their install and results.

Hello,

This kit was released not so long ago so Dyno's are not yet available. However, we have been making turbo kits for over 5 years and have many happy customers worldwide, inside and outside this forum. This kit was based on our existing "veteran" HP kit that has been out for years. We just modified/changed the components etc to allow a more accessible price point and successfully get more people into FI.

We are working hard to improve our communication and will continue to ensure these minor issues cease to occur.

If you have any questions please contact us.

Best regards,

Chris

Chris, Im looking for you to respond to my BAD FUEL PUMP Issue......

....by the sounds of everything here, what happened with the half-assed kit I recieved, missing both the FUEL PUMP & INJECTORS, I shouldn't be surprised.

You can PM me, or respond to the PM with my email address in it. Paying over 5k for a kit and not have a good fuel pump is complete crap.

This response was sent to you at 2:40pm, within 30min of your PM:

"Hello Erik,

I apologize for the bad experience. Most of the issues customers experienced was due to the old owner of Mazdaparts.com coupled with some technical communication issues. Mazdaparts.com has since switched owners and we expect customer relations to be way better moving forward. We've also started using a new inventory system taken from our manufacturing business which will allow us to reduce back ordered items and control component stock. As of last month we hold everything in stock which will help with deliveries. Unfortunately we implemented this after you made your purchase.

Can you please send me your order number so we can trace this back. Also, your kit is using the Aeromotive fuel pump, correct? Please confirm. Lastly, how did you narrow down your issue to a faulty fuel pump?

Answer these questions and we will do what we can asap.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Chris"

We don't see the need to SPAM our threads 3 minutes after you send us a PM. One hour wait for a response is fairly reasonable since we do not hover in the forum 24hrs a day. Please respond to the my pm and we will get this sorted out.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Chris

I don't know about the rest of you guys but seeing all that complaining around the esmeril kit really discourages me from doing any business with them or whatsoever ...

Even if some of the complaints are not 100% true ,still there are a lot to neglect them all !!!!

Unfortunately,i will look elsewhere for forced induction solutions ......

This is what happens when consistency is not the order of the day, business wise ...
