If it is exclusive to RotorMaster, can I be bold enough to ask why RIC SHAW is promoting it as cooperative effort?

at the present Rotor Master are doing a great job and as they dont have the software to tune my ecu yet i have looked at it on thursday with joe and all is well.the ecu is available through me at Ric Shaw Performance or from Rotor Master with the turbo kit as a kit. i think it is great two workshops can pull together like this to develope a product for all of you. we all benefit. i have no time for competition between workshops and infact try hard to help and work with many.i have been at this for over 20 years and am only interested in making all things work for anyone.
we are now trying one of my mufflers on the test car and as i said the other day there is more work to be done.

There was talk about showing the RX-8 turbo to Alan Horsely but those that know of the (real) Horsely reputation would understand why there is a reluctance to do this.

As for the "exclusive" issue. There is only one turbo RX-8 & that was built at Rotor master, by Rotor Master with the Rotor master car.

The ECU is supplied by TSI & they wholesale to both Rotor Master & Ric Shaw (despite what you may get told). Ric did do some tuning on an ECU for an "atmo" upgrade.

All tuning of the piggy back ECU for the RX-8 turbo was done by Rotor Master at the Rotor Master shop. Although Ric Shaw did come over one day & took an early tuning stage copy of the turbo program.

Its not my position to say whether any such partnership is still relevant after Rotor Master ended up doing everything. Check with Rotor Master personally on that issue.

REgards
