I checked the numbers. I think if the wind's blowing in the right direction we may just be able to scrape together enough to buy an M1.4

actually, if it's big, safe, slow, manual and ...er...cheap you're after...why not one of those French wagons. I'll only mention Citroen, 'cos otherwise Gomez gets upset.

Not my choice, but as you said, you're picky...and you've lived with a Saab this long (which I found strangely contrary -- how can you now be fussy?)...it'll hand down to the son etc...who'll want to carry surfboards, *******' mattress or whatever

but for 373kw and 520nm and an engine that sounds like God himself composed a Symphony, it's worth the $235,000 + on road.

Come on. you know you deserve it Nick.

Then hand over the 335 to me.

I think it's actually because we've lived with the old Saab for so long that we're picky now. To be honest I hadn't really considered the Citroen, Renault or P8#g&ot. I guess I'd been put off by the UK Top Gear surveys which routinely rate all three of them at or near the very bottom. Maybe that's a bit unfair and I do agree some of the French wagons look seriously commodious. So yes, good suggestion and worth closer investigation I guess.

Just remember the X type baby Jag is a Mondeo in drag Missy! Except the Mondeo reportedly handles better! I think you need Jag's S type as a minimum to get some real Jaguar flavour ( if indeed there is such a thing these days LOL).

Don't buy a Ford/Jaguar. Neither the X or the S really hits the mark IMHO and I'd suggest the depth of engineering in the Audi is better than the tarted up Fords wearing Jag clothing.

Audi A6. Stop arguing and tell him to just go buy one. lol

Fair enough. The A4 is also a good thing these days.

However, I doubt the A4 is much (if any) bigger than the Mazda 6 and he didn't think that was big enough for him.

interior or exierior..
i have been in that 929 and the A4 is about the same size on the inside, and the A4 has a higher build quality.
