hmmm... yes I love the black but I love white even more

Still think it is strange to have a white RX-8 with black leather.

I started to be unsure about the leather seat now... I am thinking to change it to solid red Bride sport seats --- that way the noise from the seat may go away too! ... on the other hand, I am crossing my finger to find a quality black/red sport seat for driver side only (very rice - YEAH )

Cameras...

Got flashed by a speed camera this morning at 4am, doing 58 in a 60 zone! We have co-located speed/red light cameras here in Victoria at a good number of intersections and I entered one of these in the centre lane as a speeding (about 70kph I'd say...) Falcon came by me on the left.

Two flashes went off....I got his plate, just in case they drag me into it!

There's a red light camera a few blocks from my place thats been taken down for repair after someone managed to smash the lens!

Oh no....

Is this theory still true;?

If there are 2 cars in the camera shot - they cannot charge either driver???

Not sure...I was on Alexandra Pde in Fitzroy outbound before the entry onto the Eastern. The lights at the Smith St intersection have a two camera setup, one adjacent to the right lane, and one to the left, each with it's own separate flash module mounted about four metres closer to the stop line. As I said, I was travelling in the centre lane (it's a three lane road). The cameras are activated by in-road sensors I believe, so there is a good possibility they will ticket this guy even with my car in the photo, as they can show the camera was activated by the car in his lane.

Some cameras are claimed to be digital, so they can pick the Ford but not you - perheps one of those on Alexandra Pde.

Don't worry - collect all data and asked for a pic. I don't think you will get a ticket though. Keep us in touch!

Picked up the boys from their local primary school today, and returned to find half a dozen kids from the adjacent high school surrounding the car. My heart skipped a beat for a moment, until I saw they were taking photo's with their phones ....

Where did you get this translation... I cannot see where the "naked" come from. Babelfish only gave me "8 young fans".

8仔 = little 8. That is what we call RX-8 in Hong Kong

發燒友 = a big fan. 發燒 = fever. So I guess 發燒友 means a person who loves a thing/object so much people thinks he has a fever or a mental melt down

This is Chinese lesson number 1 from Taka

Dunno what happened there, Taka. Maybe I got the "Pornolize" version of Bablefish ....

Have you ever seen that site, it can turn any website into an R rated version of the same site. Quite humorous actually .

I wont post a link.....search for Pornolize. It comes up under an altavista address. Enter the website URL, and this utility changes the text on the site and drops a few F words and such into it.

Freaks out the company IT people if they see it......at first glance it looks like the company site has been hijacked. Bloody Funny.

I actually removed it on second thoughts in case someone reads this thread at work with an overzealous IT support person monitoring content.

Remember Taka, that the origin of "fan" is just short for "fanatic"

I dynoed with FunkyR's DC5 today coz it is cheap. hehe :p

I have 125kW at the wheel, which is still way ahead than all DC5. Most people who have dynoed in the same set up have higher figure before.

This is the first shootout that I have done since the Unichip tuning... it is fun...in a way
