derailing threads with information that really doesn't help the case of a poor guy trying to sell his car would be considered post whoring ...
To everyone's defense... people start to derail when replying to the previous post and a chain of thoughts.

So I think Skyline's thread is ok...

But I am seriously irritated when someone talking about themselves and 2 of them start having secret conversations.... or comment about the other half. That should really keep in the PM. I actually thought what is the point of "you have got a PM" message, you are telling the world that you are talking privately to the guy, unless wanting him to put the matter in the private corner ("you come to the corner, I want to talk to you") that kind of gesture. I don't see the purpose, say in the sales forum. Anyway.

It is a public forum, and people have their views, and there will be difference in opinion. However, this remains a car forum. I hope it will continue to be educational as well as a social joint. (just more the former than it will be fine).

I Have said "You have a PM" quite a few time. The reason being is that a few people dont have PM notification turned on. Its also a way of bumping a thread.

I think EVERYONE needs to take a very large chillpill. Who gives a **** if someone wants to be a post *****. Add them to your ignore list and breeze over their posts. Goodness sakes talk about needing an excuse to have a conversation. Use the 5 year old kids trick...ignore them and they soon get bored with it. This is the reason I stay away from the lounge !

Would you like me to find the posts where people say to me "Missy you have a pm" Because I dont think Ive ever said that to no one!!

**** the forum. I'm out of here.
I never point the finger at you. You got that all wrong. Sorry if you take offense to this. My apology.

It is Cromax that we are not sure how to doubt with. He has not broken any rules but I am sure everyone feels like there is a deterioration of the forum because of some of his posts.

I think there has been a lot of over reaction and short of name calling. I merely point out a few thing to improve the forum. It is all general observation across the whole site.

This is the lounge... anything goes ....

I have waste a lot of time explaining myself which I don't have to.... it is making the matter worse than I am sorry.

Whoa!

Apologies if I have sparked something off here. I just wanted to share a view about whether "offtopic" stuff should be allowed to run a little or not.

I think we should all take Andrew's advice below and remember that most of us actually know and like each other.

Are you serious?

If you are, check with AllMaz, I've seen an RX8 there before ... maybe they have a set.

Do you think I go around posting horn requests for the hell of it?

I've tried Allmaz, they don't have any.

Mazda sell them for over $50 a side.

I love to scare little old lady with my horn ... I think the RX-8 horn is loud enough though.

That reminds me.....you still owe me money for servicing your high beam halogen fluid last month. I'll also need advance payment of $180 for supplies to get you through to years end.

Hmm, you know, I don't think I've ever used the horn on my car... I tend to just swear a lot if I get cut off, etc.

Does it sound good?

THEY do.

[nerdfact]Two of them (one on either side of the car). Two-tone spiral resonant passage trumpet horns. Low tone on the left, high tone on the right.[/nerdfact]

That ain't much. Why not just buy them from Mazda? It's not worth the headache of trying to save $50 ... well, I don't think so anyway!

Gawd!

Can you get a horn(s) that mimics a megaphoned voice shouting "Get the hell out of the right lane!"??
