The Lounge....Aussie-NZ
You still don't get it, do you? Go back and look at the last thirty posts in this thread. Every single one of them is rubbish.
Postwhoring bores people witless.
This thread (and the Australian subforum as a whole), will come back to life when the postwhores move on.

At the end of the day you're just a grumpy old man who no one listens to anyway!
Yes it has. Please read my earlier post above.
I have a 1984 Series 3 RX-7 I purchased in October last year. It's been my daily driver since then. It's done 150K and runs like a dream.
All I've really had to do is freshen it up a tad. New rubbers, new fluids....fix the odd electrical problem, rebuild the carby. I'm enjoying the tinkering. It's got half the power of my old RX-8 but it goes like a rocket.
Might get another RX-8 later this year.

Andrew, they've said no to a threaded Aussie sub-lounge before. Nothing has changed.

I know was more being a trouble maker, however having thought about it ... maybe the best thing to do would be to close this lounge "thread" and get people to post in the real lounge forum?

The paint looks not too bad for the age!
Would you believe when i was only few yrs old, we would always go past this car yard on way to dads work, and they had heaps of these rx7's out the front.. and i used to say to my parents one day i'll own 1 of them lol
i dont know much about the older rotaries, so pardon my stupid question but.. what is the fuel consumption in comparison to the 8 on your rx7?

The RX-8 has 170 odd Kw, the RX-7 has exactly half that.
There's not much in it consumption wise. They use around the same amount/Km.
The wonders of fuel injection.......
