Alternatively you could use a serial to bluetooth adapter but these are even more expensive (around US$169).

The project is far from dead... there is some really cool stuff coming together at the moment, hopefully some pics soon.
Alternatively try here - http://serialio.com/products/adaptor...rial_RS232.htm

If enough of us are interested perhaps we could do a group buy?

Good link kiwimeat. This suggests that you will need some form of adapter for the Axim as our hardware won't raise DTR. I'd recommend testing one before doing a bulk order... I'm sure we can arrange testing once the Pocket PC version of the software is more advanced.

Cheers

Sco,
Take a look here - http://serialio.com/info/axim/Axim_RS232_serial.htm

This issue has been addressed by some clever souls - even more modding if you are so inclined.

The best I could do is

There is no or :erection: emoticon. LOL :D

EDIT: BTW - adding some unit to the measurement can be a very good help, you know. I think the car is overheat with coolant temp in 250 (degree C?)

Is that a scan tool in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

All the gauges except RPM were showing the theoretical minimums and maximums based on the on board diagnostics standards. The final version will support minimums and maximums that are tuned to the RX-8.
