MAZDASPEED Group Buy Announcement!!!!!!

STARTING JAN 3rd I AM GOING TO ACTIVATE THE GROUP BUY FOR RX-8CLUB.COM!!!

The first group buy will be on the Lightwieght Mazdaspeed muffler. Mazda's MSRP on this item is 645.00 my normal website price is 516.00 the group buy price is going to be 490.00 and this price does include UPS Ground WITHIN THE US. If you are outside the US I will contact you with a shipping cost and if you approve you will be added to the list.

To be able to do this I will need a MIN OF 15 orders by the end of Jan to make this group buy happen, which at this price I dont think will be an issue.

Once I receive 15 orders then I will process all 15 orders at that time and ship the items out as soon as they come in. All orders that I recieve after the MIN 15 will be processed as soon as I recieve them.

THIS GROUP BUY WILL RUN FROM JAN 1st - JAN 31st

BUT REMEMBER IT DOESN'T EVEN START UNTIL I GET 15 ORDERS!!!!!

JASON I STILL HAVE ON MY PREORDER LIST IF IT IS OK WITH YOU I AM GOING TO ROLL YOU INTO THE GROUP BUY......SO THAT GIVES US 1

HOPE TO HEAR FROM EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!

If I sign up for this and at least 14 others do not, am I looking at a worst case scenario of $516.00 shipped? Right now I am looking at this and the greddy sp2. I really want to have a good deep non stock sound. Thanks, I will let you know.

I appreciate your patience in this, and everybody elses. The only consulation I can give is that when they do release the final product it will be the best fitting highest quality exhaust out there.

For all those that are interested the group buy has been activated. Go to the website and click on the group buy catalog, the rest is simply point and click.

Mazda does not make one for the RX-8 that I as a Mazda dealer can get. If you are referencing one from Mazdaspeed Motorsports I as a dealer cannot order from them.

I was actually looking at this even before the group buy, but I have always been hesitant about messing with the exhaust, because I am afraid it will sound ricey, like so many of the Mitsu's and Civics that I see. Does anyone know how it sounds? Second, since it is Mazdaspeed, I assume it will be kosher with the warranty, correct? Third, are the two split mufflers lower profile the the stock one? I hate how I can see the stock one sticking out below the rear bumper. Lastly, are the tips a wider diameter than the wimpy stock tips? (I apologize if any of these have already been answered in the other posts.)

Answers in order:
1: Sound will be an unknown until I get permission to test fit one on one of our new cars. But what I have been told by Mazda is that it has a much better sound than stock.
2: This will not void any portion of your factory warranty, that the benefit of it being a Mazdaspeed accessory.
3: The design does lend itself to being less visible than stock.
4: The tips are 3.5in in dia. so yes they are considerably larger than stock.

If I'm not mistaken the mid-pipe is 3in dia. I lost my damn note I'll have to call Mazda tomorrow.

I will most likely be interested, but I'd like to see how the exhaust tips will look compared to stock. Stick out the same distance? I'm not mechanically inclined , but looking at the picture, I'm assuming this would be a no-brainer DIY install?

Ok, count me in. However, this is the slow time for my business (landscaping) and will have to wait until January billing starts to roll in. I will order it then. Sorry…

Jeff
installations are fairly simple..you just have to be patient cause the rubber bearings that hold it are a pain to get off...nothing like some good old lube that cant help a little...

also, bagman, im sure my reasons are the same as everyone...but im sure once the details are fully out, you wont have any problems with sales
