I'm hating Mid-Atlantic right now. We cannot get jack **** up north, this weather **** is so backwards this year. We haven't gotten snow in weeks and when we do it's for one day. Bitter cold as usual but no snow makes it just a plain day on the slopes, just can't enjoy it as much.

 

Seems we are stealing all of your snow....

 

Man you have no idea. I just got back from Maine last week being there for 4 days of boarding last week. Thurs was the only good day with snow from the night before. After that back to the typical ice coast hard packed ****.

I thought last year was bad, this is by far the worst for anyone living in the big resort area this year in the NE. I need to move out to Wyoming or Montana pronto, F this crap.

 

This winter has been way out of the norm. just looks like you have to come down here to board for once.

Haha, what's awesome is, the snow started off really wet and clumpy, but then the powder fell on top of it, so we had a nice solid layer for the powder to sit on top of...

which made the shovel snowball fight atrocious for me...lol

Maybe you should think of hitting the slopes in Northern Cal Rev, a lot of women that board are really good looking.

2 big name resorts over there that come to mind are Bear Mtn and Mammoth Mtn.

 

I've actually never been skiing or boarding. Tbh I don't like crowds and being on top of a freezing mountain soaking wet surrounded by jerkoffs going 40mph past me doesn't appeal

 

It depends where you go at. Some resorts are more packed than others and you don't get wet with the gear you buy for boarding/skiing. They have waterproof ratings and I get anywhere from 10-20k gear which keeps you dry, all the time. The only thing that gets wet is maybe your hat, and gloves depending how often you go down. All you need is a base layer like cold gear from Under Armor apparel, being just a thin sweater and sweatpants and then toss over a snow jacket and pants, good to go. I never get cold with it even below 0 degrees .

Trust me, there are a crap load of good looking girls up there and it doesn't matter how good you are whether 1st timer or pro, the women aren't like the guys with the 'tude.

Oh I am actually quite athletic and am sure that I would be fine I just don't see myself up there lol.

 

You can always rent gear for 1 day to try it. But if you do, board. The chicks that board are ripping good looking for the most part usually. Just from what I've seen at resorts not saying I've tried to pick any up. I don't bother in the winter season when sporting the Grizzly Adams beard
