Agreed, just tell that to the rest of the dumbass population.
agreed - what i'm saying is that in this particular instance (referring the one regarding mike's family member) is that if you have enough money to purchase multiple houses and apartments - you should not be living with a family member - that family member should be living with you at the very least ya know? He obviously doesn't need support in any way so there shouldn't be a need. And if he were to lend a hand around the house then do what my brother did and buy the house next to his parents. (funny story).

as far as living with your parents til you're ready is both logical and efficient IMO. I was just stating that if you're capable of moving out on your own - then you should. Most people can't really tell some times. I usually go off of seeing what a person can afford to drive heh.

he might live in my grandparents house dude but he covers all the expenses, my grandpas retirement money is not enough to sustain himself, hence his money is for living, and since my uncle is still single he helps them out its not like hes smooching off them, if anything and my dad bought the house to give to his parents so i dont see it as leeching

ah yes but at what point does your moving out help them psychologically, mentally. therein is the crux of the matter

I can't argue with anything here. It's funny Roger came by my house last week and he thought I owned that house. I don't really seem that well off do I ****.

So a cop saw you driving, took down your tag, and then sent you that letter instead of pulling you over?

'Tilla (yea I'm gonna call ya 'Tilla):

Ah, actually I lived on campus all my 7 years and visited parents on weekend strictly because well, I was a raceaholic always working or fabricating something on it.

Personally I need my own breathing room and way to independent. I refuse to have a roommate for my place or any place just because I don't trust anyone unless I know them for a damn long time.

That and the fact moving a good 5 hours away from the nest (father has 8 brother's sisters, 85% of my entire family which accounts for over 100+ people live within a 20 mile radius over there) which is a huge nest I got nothing to rely on by myself. So for me, an apt is worth is right now until I figure out where I prefer to be in the future which so far is either Montana, Wyoming, or overseas somewhere.

Mike: hmmm has he thought about taking over the mortgage of the house if they haven't already paid it off. It's the least he can do imo. He seems to be endowed with a good amount of money already - his grandparents have already done their job in life. Granted that when you say 'expenses' mortgage isn't included of course

Matt: do your thing man, just remember to keep a balance of things when you do decide to make a move otherwise stress may ensue because you may struggle to maintain one of them.

vlaze: 1st of all...only 1 other person has ever called me 'tilla on this forum and it was a girl who sent me bewbie and *** pic's (which i enjoyed) In order to continue in this fashion i'm forced to ask you for the same...........(for the love of all things holy please don't do it...)

2nd of all - yeah, that's a helluva nest. My family was similar to that too - lucky for me i got kicked out - i got plenty of breathing room then! Probably why i'm pro-independent now -

actually yead atilla, my dad bought that house as his first house at 21 because he was the oldest and wanted a house so his parents and all my dads younger siblings would have a home, rather than renting, my dad took care of the mortgage for years, but then my uncle took over paying for it and now my grandparents dont have to worry about the mortgage cuase the house is finally paid off and they have a secure home not having to rely on anybody

yup, I've pretty much decided no more mods for the year I have put off saving for too long now. I realize that I can't really go back to being a student full time any more (not that I would want to) so it is time to start planning for the future
