Gr8: paying extra is always a great move, I did the same thing when I financed my RX8.
It sucks now having to fork over the extra $$$ but when it's all paid off and you've got an extra $500 a month sitting in your checking account, that's a great feeling.

Hymee SC ftw!
that thing looks awesome. The only issue with SC'ers is lack of choices.
Pettit is being discontinued (last I heard)
Hymee isn't quite out YET but should be here soon
Pro Charger. eh.

sucks to hear about the pettit sc. Truth be told - since phil's 250+ run, i kinda wanted to shoot for a sc...
Atilla: yeah, that thing isn't exactly cheap.
ProCharger Stage1 (6psi) = $7,395
ProCharger Stage 2 (8-12psi) = $7,990
Given the price of those two choices, I really don't see why anyone would get the Stage 1.
Unfortunately unless you want a crappy Greddy Turbo, every other FI option out there is quite expensive. I can't picture myself going Turbo for under $10,000.

I talked with the guys that make one procharger options at formula d n' yeah...not exactly any cheaper
Yeah - i figure breakin' the bank all at once will be a hard trigger to pull - i'm just gonna be doing it piece by piece when i'm ready. I'll probably need a rebuild before i even finish

yeah, I think the key to FI is to take the measure twice, cut once approach.
We all know it's hit to the wallet so make sure you're being real with yourself about the potential costs and then either buy the parts as you go along or truly bite the bullet and just order it all at once.
Rebuild.
yeah, I'm probably going to need that soon.
