if you look at the axis halo's (which have been out for at least a year now) - they're a blatant rip off of the te37's design w/the only exception of it having a pin stripe. The axis matrix's are knock off's of volk gt-v's.

Yeah, xxr's aren't terrible. I think it's more of a point of functionality. They're created like most other cast wheels but they're emphasis is on durability. Unfortunately they sacrifice a lot in regards to weight. For a drift car, i wouldn't knock it considering how much weight is pushed onto it due to centripicle (SP) force. IMO, it could be a reason why some drifters advocate them. That and the variety of offsets they come in. Hence the reason why they're more popular than other knock off brands (ie rota)
