Rev: tbh - its not like it happened overnight. I've had my car since the end of 05'. It's 2010 and i still haven't painted my kit or added a bunch of other crap i have laying around my garage.
Modding a car is like sexy time - Never rush - take your time n' do it right...unless you don't give a **** - then push it as hard as you can until you don't like it anymore then dump it for something better

So you have upgrades sitting around your garage and never done so? Boy you need to step up!

yeah Rev, Tim's had his car since 2004 and Atilla right; this is a marathon, not a sprint.
I was talking with Flashwing about this very topic recently and sure enough he put up a post on the BHR site that hits the nail on the head. (worth the read)

Well at the rate you're going, you'll post pics of them coming in the box, but will wait another year or two before going on the car? I understand taking time to do things right like a virgin on his/her wedding night (do such people exist anymore?) but that's rather defined as, lazy

Well to be fair, I waited until a pile of **** (figuratively speaking) came in before getting started in April which involved, CAI, CF vinyl wrap, AFE SS, Tsnuami body kit, Stance coil overs, and some other crap but once those came in I started working on it and still got some bits left to do on the car that doesn't include mods.
The way I see it, there's always SOMETHING needing to be done on this drama queen. Next after the rims is tint, and fixing the bumper from the bronx a-hole who dented it, pulling door liners apart to fix the rattle and fixing the passenger mirror that isn't aligned when it goes down. I prolly won't stop there....I'll likely look into getting or making some custom CF aero piece to go under the bumper and side skirts, fix this, fix that...........and maybe order more stuffs

i think if it weren't for the maintenance stuff i've had to do over the years - i'd probably have all this crap done by now...
i kept tearing through tires my first couple years out - then i went thru my accident - THEN i went thru that stupid jobless period
gahhh...
