Ok, so how is this thread better than the other
I would suggest placing links on your first post, for Solo2 website, as well as any sites that Ulllose can come up with regarding Solo2 rules/regulations.
You could always put up RX8 Cup info on the first thread as well, so we can track those who are previous cup holders.

Does the RX-8 cup extend to San Diego events? Maybe there will be a divisional cup for SD.
How 'bout putting a blurb about the next event with a link on the main post too?

I think RX-8 Cup should be ........... 3 or more drivers?.... maybe 4 or more???? what do you guys think?
I dont know about SD??? I dont think I will start running there any time soon due to schedules, but I think if you guys down there have the right number of people that would qualify as an RX-8 cup... right?

I wonder if we should exclude SM???
only reason I left it, is for us BSP/STU guys that might run it in the future. (like Toca, or Keith if he is forced to)
they really need to have a class that is BSP and STU combined. (BSP rules with body kit would be great)
I still cant get over the HUGE spoiler, but no wing thing. all well, If you want to play their game, you have to play by their rules right?

non PAX is our only hope for EVER beating ULLLOSE.
but to be honest, that would be the "most" fair way.

hey what do ou guys think about a very small shot of nitrous for auto cross? somehting liek a 40 shot. safe, hardly noticable, but still more power then stock.
would have come in handy on the last track. (and yes I know nothing beats seat time) just curious.

And then if you are really good (i.e. Ulllose) you can win both the SD and Fontana events in the same month and have both the rotor and housing

Yes, PAX gives us stock guys an advantage, but it does nothing to help me against ULLLOSE. What it does is allow me to beat BSP without actually beating your times.
Some numbers:
BS .822
BS .843
STU .820
STU actually has it the easiest. For a typical 60 sec course, BSP would have to run about 1.25 secs quicker than BS.

I only meant that STU has the "softest" PAX, not that it was easy to be competitive. Yes, I drove on the stock tires for almost a year. The stock tires suck, but the top street tires (Yokos) are getting closer to r-compounds in grip.

Just did my 30k service and had the dealer put in Redline fluids for the diff and tranny... unfornuately the morons forgot to put the fill plug for the diff back in.
Fluid all over the exhaust and a nice smell to match. I'm stuck at home now and they're not open tomorrow. Hopefully I can get things sorted out tomorrow and make the event Sunday.
