I use to live in Huntington Beach... for about 20 years. I laugh at people up in nor cal who complain about 'traffic".. you haven't seen traffic till you've been parked on the 405.

That's why I love to stay at the Hyatt in valencia. Drive up there sunday night.. no traffic. Leave around 10am and get back to SJ in about 4 hours.

Just picked up some radios to use on the Norcal drive down... what channel will you knucklheads be on in socal?

channels will be assigned on Saturday.

Speaking of radios! I need some volunteers to be placed at certain parts of the caravan.
The cars will be lead by two cars; Ngo & I will take the first group and XdeedubbX will have the second group.

The entrance to the 605 South (which we used in the past) was 1 lane so we usually ended up with one big line of cars that eventually turned into two lanes when on the freeway.

This year might be similar if the 605 N onramp is also only 1 lane.

I'd like someone with a radio at the back of each group gets there together. (PLUS it makes lane changes / freeway mergers easier)

 

I'll help out if you need it amigo.

 

Good thing I haz three avail radios to lend...
