Are there going to be any females at this event? the social kind? not the kind that won't leave their mates side. My wife is interested in going but not if any of the above is gonna be there.

Basically she wants to have a good time as well and not stay by me all day due to lack of female conversation.

This is a weird question.. There definitely will be females. But it is mostly a male dominant event.

Do you have kids? There is a pretty cool workshop for kids there. Should be fun for families.

 

I used to be part of a hyudai tiburon car club. My wife networked with alot of the girls and had lots of fun. We stopped going to those meets for about 2 years now. Different crowd and now have an rx8. She was hoping to rekindle her past experiences.

I have a 1 1/2 year old daughter. I wont be taking her. She gets to visit her grandparents saturday while we go out.

 

Oh I see.. Who knows, you might!.. Rotary girls aren't any less social than pist'on ones.

She would probably have better luck at a local meet though.. but who knows!

 

Anyone know of a self serve car wash by the Mazda lot / seven stock?

 

in irvine, hah..no. but, there's a car detailing place at the spectrum. you go into the parking structure near the theater, and on the bottom level, they'll clean your car for you. OR a short drive away, there's a place on Edinger (which is known as Irvine Center Drive in Irvine) that has a self serve car wash. it's right after you pass Jamboree and there's a Jiffy Lube in the same area.

huh. i've never seen that place. and no worries. irvine is the safest city in america. the other weekend, i left my car unlocked and and woke up monday morning and found out it had been that way for 3 days. so ya, don't worry!

and because i just jinxed myself, i'm gonna walk outside and not find my car right now

 

Ahh man lets hope that car was is there when I go Friday night.

LOL I was just joking and that jinxed stuff only works like Voodoo, Oh wait

I heard of a self wash place somewhere on Jamboree but I'm not sure if it exists anymore.

 

No longer there, I drove back and fourth about 4 times before I realized it a while back!

Closest ones I know of are in Costa Mesa near the 55/73 intersection (15 min north 7stock) and in Lake Forest (20min south of 7stock).

 

Alright the AZ crew is leaving in about an 3 1/2 hours We should be in Irvine around 3:00pm.
