It was great meeting up with all of you from So Cal and good to see some familiar faces at Sevenstock. Thanks to everyone who took pics of my car it's greatly appreciated.

Till next year!

godfather: check with your insurance company; many of them cover the windshields without deductible.

Not yet. I'm too slow, and I have 1.5 hrs of video to sift through.
I have the entire caravan from the mall.
I also setup the camera on a tripod on the backside of the Ford building so I got every car driving by there.
I will post here once I'm done.
I will also post a link w/ no editing so anyone can use the video or clips of it however they like.

Checked with my insurance company yesterday and I have the option to fill it or replace it. I chose to fill it but when the company came out they said due to the length and curve of the crack they cant fill it. Looks like a new windshield for me. As far as my coverage goes, I have a $250 comp on my Mercury insurance so that'll be the most I'll have to pay. I'll start lookin around for quotes tomorrow. Thanks!

naw, you can still kinda see it. It helps a little but the main purpose is that it stops the crack from running. It is good for small star-shaped cracks. Anything over 6in they claim they cant fix. Mine has reached about 12 inches so even if i could get it filled now it would look horrible.

Yeah a pebble put a tiny pot in my windshield once.. had it filled with some kind of resin. It's pretty good, you can barely see it.

I was gonna post an "I see what you did there" cat but then twinks will just reply with a "thats nice" cat. So I skipped the whole ordeal.

Safelight Autoglass did good work on my front windshield. I wouldn't use them again for rear windshield tho. They scratched up my trunk & the quality of the rear glass isn't up to Oem quality.
