just got my call from Romero Mazda...Mazda is going to offer no support with the broken clutch bracket. I guess I need to follow Jedi's suggestion of sending a pm to CharlesHill.

I just want to get into the new car, but things just aren't working out for us right now.

..oh, sorry, happy new years everyone

oil change and wax job today.
Spark plugs are in the mail, and the cabin air filter is STILL sitting on the passenger seat.

I thought if I put it in the passenger seat I would just do it one day when I was sittin in the car. But it is still in the box, sliding around on every corner reminding me of my laziness.

Romero indicated that new clutch bracket was going to be about 250, installation would be additional to that.

I'll probably need to be creative, and take the calm, slow approach like I did with the transmission. Take steps slow, retrace them and get as much info as I can.

spent some time with Casey this evening on the Miata. I was really impressed with the amount of work he got through during our trip to Vegas over the New Years.

We took the AC components out and got the car on the trailor tonight...with the goal of getting the car to a muffler shop to have the cherry bomb welded on. Maybe give it a drive around the block so we can confirm that there are no leaks under load.

We got the car up to operating temp this evening and no leaks....so it looks promising.

That sounds like expensive information.
How much did it cost to learn that one?

It didn't cost anything.
We had Guitar Hero guitars. When we bought Rock Band, it came w/ 1 guitar. We used the GH and Rock Band guitars for playing Rock Band. I tried using the Rock Band guitar on GH2 and that's how I found it didn't work.
It's no big deal for the xbox guys, because we can use our GH guitar to play w/ the whole band.
PS3 owners, on the other hand, once again, got screwed.
The GH guitar was not compatible w/ Rock Band on the PS3, and Rock Band did not sell any individual instruments.
So PS3 owners that bought Rock Band, only have 1 guitarist for now. (Although I think that issue is close to being fixed, if not already fixed)
