don't worry Jedi....I over paid for my 8 as well. Sucks buying something when it first comes out. Of course, your the first one on your block.....but that only last for a little while.

We may not have the same model...or maybe we do...either way, television is paid for and all that is needed are new bulbs. I replaced the bulb once.

 

YEAH, being the first to get something is ALWAYS awesome!!! I remember the last time I was at your house I kept thinking, "HOLY ****, nice TV. It will be mine, oh yes...it WILL be mine..."

The new car is sitting in the garage tonight. We have plans tomorrow prior to the game now, but maybe get some pics up Sunday. Strange to see an odometer with fewer miles on it than I currently have on the tripometer on my 8.......up to 26.9 miles on the new car. It still has that new car smell.

They already have a buyer for Erica's car, and the person is picking up the car this Sunday.

....by being the first, you get the bragging rights of being the first to have it. but, you're also the guinea pig at all of it's faults. idk, some things like the exploding fuel tank recal comes to mind with the rx8

the fuel tank didn't explode! They were simply getting too hot due to exhaust heat so that's why they added the heat shields.

could be worse... I remember reading about a Mitsubishi recall where the fuel tanks were FALLING OFF!

 

stopped by the dealership this morning, they ended up giving me brand new tail light and fog lights becasue of the condensation. now the older fog doesnt look as new.. the rear tail lights look alright.

i saw 4 BB rx-8 just sitting behind the front gates...and then they pulled ericas car behind. i doubt they are selling that to anyone in its current state. they just parked it next to one of the BB.

i also looked at the current cx-9 steering wheel. it resembles the current rx-8 wheel much more then the new rx-8.

 

good to hear you got the lights fixed loren... don't worry about the fog light too much. over time, they'll catch up with each other. plus, it's one of those things that unless you walk up and look at it- it's not going to be noticeable.

on a side note, greebay is kicking *** it seems. only 3rd quarter tho. still waiting for the pats jags game to come on..
