keith, I think we run last.... dont we? that would make us running closer to 2:30 - 3:00 or so.

 

nevermind... we run 2nd after lunch, so closer to 1:00 or 1:30???

@ Casey: thanks - I know it is for the greater good. What I am actually upset about is the WAY its coming apart. No wait - that sounds bad too. Ok (sits down - takes deep breathe) Here is the dealio. I told Keith that I don't mind putting the car back to stock if that is the goal - but I would like it just that way - STOCK! Instead what I have right now is a semi stock car with Ings rear flares, strakes, cool exhaust, and some really really really curbed stock rims (that I DIDNT curb - but traded for the Axis). When the front bumper came off there is a small gouge out of the paint of the stock bumper and I didn't have any corner lights - just gaping holes (thanks for helping me out with that Loren). When the side skirts came off they left a lot of tape and glue residue along the bottom of the car - A LOT. Also they were hiding ENORMOUS dents in panel under the doors from when I half rolled in Big Bear. Really - they are pretty bad.

So to sum it up - I don't have a stock car yet. I have a car with rear flares, exhaust, strakes, curbed rims, gaping holes in the bumper, tape and glue around the bottom edges, and ENORMOUS dents along one side. As a female (yeah it makes a difference) this is EXTREEEEEEEEMELY embarrassing to drive - especially when I put so much work into making her look good. If it was a good looking stock car I am not sure I would be so upset.

Nope. Just talked to someone that's been in Lake Arrowhead all day working.
He said "little lowered cars" (that's how he refers to my eight) couldn't drive up there today. Too much mud and crap in the roads.

yeah that does sound tuff erica...damn now i forgot what i was going to say, I have to look back at the last page now.

 

oh yeah, for sunday's autocross are you guys going to do a burn out contest afterwards or save the tires for next year i kid i will try to show up if i have time to get some last pictures... i think someone should bring some soap box, milk box or walmart boxes to the event to have a podium and troppy presentation (a single rotor)!!

Although, if Keith can't sell his car 'as is' then you can poke fun at him when he has a semi-modded RX-8.

it may have been the troppy that blew him over the edge.
