exhaust seems to be untouched so looks like all I need is a new bumper. It's been ordered and my car goes under the knife on Monday.

It was two dentist that bought it for their son. The son had a jeep cherokee and Dad (We think) had a porsche and the mom has a audi tt.

They wanted it because the porsche was yellow with yellow interior. Guess what so did our 8....WoW so now they have 2 yellow cars. Hmmm who else did I know that had 2 yellow cars? Any who At least its going to a home that has money. To bad the kid cant drive stick

Update on our RX8's....sold the Axis today.....put up the autotrader add for the Black 8.....hoping that I can just use the one add for both cars....if someone calls, but they are worried about the mileage, I can say, "well, we do have a second 8 for sale that has less mileage and is a 2005...."

 

I've had some emails already from my autotrader add.......in the add I offered to lower the selling price of the car if the car was sold with stock wheels.

Is there any interest within this group on my VOLKs? I'm not going to post in the FS section yet, as it was only an email....just want to gauge interest in the wheels.

I'm thinking 2k with stock wheel swap?

 

i concur but in this market its better for it to go then have the car sit. now with the way kwescott got his things moving. we may be short 3 8s for the calender...maybe we dont do one ?

i am more in the mood for a road bicycle right now so i migth drop the price of my wheels if only i can sell them but the cars is staying.

yeah, I didn twant to see it go, but it just had to.

some people ask if I am sad... well I was, a couple of months ago when I took all the fun parts off. The RX-8 I had was the RX-8 you all know. the stock verssion istting in my garage for the last 2 months was not my RX-8. so to me the RX-8 was gone 2 months ago.

now the paments weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

All in all, I still love the rotary, I still love the RX-8. Its just something I needed to do.


Now its time to look on to having money again, and having a dedicated track car! :-)
