anyone know of anyone looking to buy a home, my neighbors house accross the street is for sale and they fiablly lowered the price.
3 bed plus loft
3.5 bath
3 car garage
pool and spa
2000+ sq
all for just $387,000

that is not good for our neighborhood. hopefully prices do not last like this ffor a long time.

No wind here but good grief.....we were lucky to get home last night. Ended up in a sandstorm on the way home. Came out of it on the wrong side of the road.

Yesterday it was like that. I went to Hemet and the dust was so bad that we could only move 10 miles an hour. On the 210 coming home that night I saw several turned over truck trailers.

the Kohls shopping center lost power this morning. But the target shopping center across the street was fine. crazy considering all the power lines are below ground. I think I know when it happened cause all the lights at our house flickered pretty bad before I left. How does that happen anyway?
I had a fun drive to work - including getting stuck in a fire on VanBuren in Riverside.

Oh yeah - did I mention that the windows in my classroom are not sealed properly? and that the window is facing north to the wind? Lovely.

yeah our house windows leak as well but the master bedroom window is the worst. there is a thick layer of dirt all the way accross the sill.

I was at Stater Bros this morning, and when I left I noticed the lights were out at the Kohl's shopping center. I think it happened while I was in the store.
We have no TV!!!
Our satelite dish is dancing like crazy on our roof. I don't know if it's the way I installed it or if there just that much wind. We never had it go out at the other house.
I wish Verizon would get the FIOS TV approved so I wouldn't have this issue.

I'm in Redlands right now, and all is quite. Not even a slight breeze.

There is a small hole on the railing for the water to drain out when it rains.
Unfortunately, it also lets in dirt during windy days.
We just take a small, slightly damp wash cloth and roll it up in the corner.
Keeps the dirt from getting past the window sill to the carpet, and after the wind passes, you can use a vacuum hose to clean-out the dirt.

Or you can use Autocross tape (otherwise known as painter's tape).
