i think that the e46 (1999~2005) line is THE closest thing to being the "perfect" 3-series bmw has ever designed and built in the context of it's era- period. and, if u troll the bmw forums, most owners past/ present seem to agree.

with the new e90's (and the new crop of bmw's), bmw has totally fucked with too many of the fundamental design principals that made the 3 series a "driver's car" and "driver centric" car. reliability is way down, and they've sold out and lost their design vision due to being distracted by the japanese competition- all with an upward spiraling price tag to match. and, it's really sad...

so, i guess what i'm saying is that the (e46) '05 m3 is a great choice.

 

@ loren. we figured it hopefully would bring out guys who painted that loved old cars and new cars. my car was the newest one there. next in line was a 74 international scout. it was only six cars total but we were looking to get people to come in and spend money...

 

i'm up for malibu... just not sure which weekend is good yet. what day is everyone leaning towards?

 

so is the guitar hero /rockstar party still on? maybe we just play a bunch of forza online?

Congrats Keith on your crushing victory this weekend! you did awsome. I thought I did good, you tore it up.

Keith and I for the last two races have been within 0.08 & 0.09 seconds of each other. (it takes 0.1 seconds to blink your eyes.) This time he got me by 0.54.... you go boy!

(then you look at Isleys time, and you realize just how far back we are.)

i had fun playing forza last night but i guess i need more 550 C class cars, i only had about 3 and it got tired useing the same cars over adn over. i will work on that this week.
