if your loan guy DOESN'T know more about your finances then you do then he's not doing his job properly. Hang in there, it'll all be worth it in the end.

30 day loan lock or 45?

30 day.

The bank (that is selling the home) wants it done by the 16th.

So far we are on track . . . . . . . but this whole process is BS.

My favorite loan question evar: What are your rates today?

that's like walking onto a car lot and asking, "what's the price for a car?"

So this stimulus check . . . is it meant to stimulate the U.S. ecenomy . . . . or China's economy?

I am pretty sure it will help Wal-mart too.
Have you seen all the $600 specials at places like best buy, home depot, and any other store that thinks they may benefit from this.

I don't vote, so I could care less.... I don't do jury service. I don't deposit used oil at oil recycling locations. oh, and I don't close my mouth when I chew.

...but in all truth...I am going to find it hard to see a guy name Obama on the ticket...in a world where we are worried about Osama.....a guy named Obama is going to find it a hard road to the "white" house.

I'm just sayin'.

I always hear people bring up the fact that his name is Obama and it "sounds like" Osama, but everyone seems to forget his middle name doesn't sound like anything, it is Hussein.
I don't know, President Obama (sounds like Osama) or President Hussein
I had enough trouble w/ Governor Schwarzenegger

i think at this point either obama or clinton would be a better choice than john mccain, who frankly, is really just another carbon copy of the current chimp. how so? well...

1. mccain actually thinks the war in iraq needs to go on indefinitely and that we're making good progress. what crack pipe has he been smoking? our national debt is sky-rocketing out of control, our oil prices are sky high- despite the fact that we control an oil-producing country, and civilian life in iraq has not gotten better. if anything, we've been admitting more displaced iraqi nationals into the u.s. since the onset of the war- moreso than any other immigrant nation in a long *** time.
2. mccain's so-called "chief economic advisor" is phil gramm, who if u do some digging, is another major crackhead. he basically authored & pushed through the bill that allowed u.s. banks & investment co.s to invest in non-regulated, mortgage-tied derivative securities. and, oh yah- he also sits on the board of UBS, the united bank of switzerland, who recently wrote-off 20 billion dollars in losses due to u.s. mortgage investment-tied securities. any conflicts of interest there? yah- probably not. gramm & greenspan are a nice tag team that contributed to the lapse in controls that allowed the entire real estate debacle.

but, what worries me is that a lot of voters are either SO pro-obama or SO pro-clinton that they would rather vote for mccain than the opposite democratic candidate of their choice.

the bigger picture, imo, is that we cannot afford to let another crackhead like mccain into the white house, because he'll only continue the chimp's terrible policies to (a) continue screwing up the u.s. and (b) continue screwing up the rest of the world.

on that note, i had jury service this week. and, yah- it sucked. I have one more week next week. so, wish me luck!

Well, here's my prediction. I've said it many times before, and I'm now going on record by posting online for the whole world to see.

I believe McCain will be our next president.

Whether or not I want that, doesn't matter.
Republicans will vote Republican, because that's what they do.
Democrats seem to be pretty split right now, and some are very adamant about the candidate they don't want, and they have stated that if their preferred candidate is not an option, they will vote Republican.

No, I don't mean all Republicans or all Democrats will do this, but many will.
Obviously these statements are generic, and do not include 100% of the people, but I think it includes enough to make a difference. IMO

(Now I'll stop before this thread becomes totally dead.)

So who's going to the meet this Saturday?

never served on jury duty "knock on wood"

last time i voted for a pres i throught it was the wrong time to change presidents in the middle of a war. now i think which ever one brings our troops home faster should be in office, yeah that other stuff matters too. i dont like hiliary (unknown reason), i dont like obama (reasons stated above) but i think i am voting for him (i am Rep)

i dont usually make sence so dont worry about it if you cant understand this.

LETS ALL VOTE FOR NADER!!
