Hey now!
I put 700 miles on my car two weeks ago all in one weekend.
That's more then Gerry drives a year.

I have 68,000 miles on my car now. Anyone have less?

 

jedi this thread got about as much action today as your car did a few weeks ago.

And yes I think we do tend to forget abotu people when you only see them once a year and never hear form anyone wish it wasnt that way.

i know there's not a lot of us out there anymore for driving but maybe we can plan a lunch like
we use to have after the runs. i think gerry could even make that.. what do say guys.
and jake you wont even need the 8. i guess we could call it the reunion run lunch.
well maybe not, but what do you guys think.

i was thinking of something thats good for everyone, try to get the old gang together
at least for lunch. something thats midway for everyone, or at least a good spot that
not too out of the way for everyone to show.
personally i don't mind taking a drive thats far.

LOL... C'mon, I still drive my car at least once or twice a week... Just not to Vegas and back. =) Now that ACH has re-opened, and it's only 10 min from my house, I think I'll be up there more frequently. Tho- I do miss our SB runs. (Crestline, IdyllWyld etc.)

My mileage is around 11,654 or something other...

Btw, I hope he's ok with me sharing the news. But, Jason's completed his MSF (M1 license) and is bike shopping now... I think he's looking at getting a CBR1000RR.

 

Gerry: Angeles Crest Highway sounds fun, I'm sure you'll take advantage being that it's so close to you.
No wonder Jason was asking me whether I had my motorcycle license! That's cool news, I'm sure he'll have a blast

the main road up big bear is washed out though, so only the back way is open atm i think...

LOL... i think the road on the front side is wider though and slightly safer maybe?

i don't remember how the road conditions are for the back route... >_<

 

So far i like it, having never had a smart phone I am learning all the ins and outs still. I didnt know becase they didnt tell me that my plan was automatcially upgraded to unliminted data. That is great and I hope to keep it but Verizon should have told me at least! Used the phone yesterday to find a del taco (easyier then a GPS).

back route is 18 (330 is closed on the weekend) 330 is 2 way and 18 is 4 way until you get to twin peaks and rim of the world, then it is 2 way again.
