Hi everyone, sorry for MIA for so long, I am here trying to get up to speed with the threads...hopefully we can set up a Run soon?..providing i don't have to work that day...my weekends are staggered..
I called you several weeks ago, but you never returned my call
..I called your office and your cell..I was in your area for a meeting and wanted to meet up with you before my meeting.

hahahaha... i know. when i left New Line in 2008 I interviewed at Fox for a sys eng job at myspace... and, thank god i didn't get the gig. from what i heard thru the grape vine, they are real slave drivers over there too... <lol> xP
anyhow, u guys yelled at me last time for not telling you about auto-maker sponsored driving events... so, for penance, there are a couple coming up that i will share with u guys
Thanks for joining us at Main Street in Motion at Santa Anita Park this past December. We wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to two more free and family-friendly Main Street driving events, March 25–27 at Wild Rivers in Irvine, CA, and April 8–10 at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA.
Remember, it’s here that you’ll find more than 70 vehicles, including 25 competitive makes, in the same location. It’s the perfect environment to compare Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Acura, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Lexus, Toyota and others side by side. Passenger cars and performance machines. Fun crossovers and full-size pickups. Hybrids and electric vehicles like the widely anticipated Chevrolet Volt. All together in the same place.
bmw is also doing free x3 mountain driving + skiing events too, but they are out-of-state (utah, washington etc.)
i'm tentatively thinking of going to the wild rivers one on 3/26, but i prefer to go to the april 9-10 at hollywood park. maybe we can make a group day out of it, if there is enough interest with everyone? it's all short auto-cross coursing all GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota cars- ie it's a GM event, but they bring out competitors cars for us to thrash around. as mentioned, i've been to several of these before and they are pretty fun. free food, free drinks, and autocross a corvette and camaro. hey, who can say no to that right?
PM your email address and I will forward you an invite to the event, because I don't want to publish out my invite code on the open forum.
PS i'm also telling the 626 rx-8 guys about this- tho, i doubt they'll go...

i'll email you the invite so you can register. i don't see your email on FaceBook tho. Can u PM it to me?
maybe all of us can decide which date we want to go and then meet up there the same day/ time? it's actually a very relaxed and fun event.
april works for me too. did u have a preference Jorge?

sorry Gerry, forgot about that driving event.
I think there's a Forumula Drift event in Long Beach that weekend, never been to one of those so I'll probably check that out.
