So nobody from the SB or OC going to the Grand Am race at Laguna Seca the 8-9? I guess Celeste and I will have to represent SoCal on our own. I will be sending updates during the weekend.

Doug: wish I could go up to Laguna Seca that weekend, I'd been looking forward to it but doesn't look like I can make it so this was the 2nd best option.
Make sure you take logs of pics and know I"ll be jealous of you as you watch those cars go zoom zoom around the track!

Yeah I want to go to Leguna Seca too, soo bad but i have a couple vacation this nextr month one which is nto with my wife so i dont think i can make it.

Also is there a fix for the coolent light sensor besides replacing the whole resevoir?

still running the stock Cat?

we should look at both of those. Does the car feel sluggish? If so, is it usually around the same rpm range? If so, what range?

If it's the fuel pump, I'd go with the OEM. The BHR one was nice but some people are having issues with it and CRH and MM are in the process of releasing a completely different pump which should be better but it's unknown as to when that will be out.

 

Colis plugs and wires were replaced last summer. stock cat. sluggish only after it has gotten really hot. most of the rpm band but more so lower down.

 

sluggish when hot is typically signs of a cat issue or low compression.
no trouble starting the car after it's hot?

does it ever feel like it's stalling out or just sluggish?

I'm leaning towards cat or you cooked a ignition coil already. It's starting to warm up and this is typically when these issues arise.
if it were the fuel pump, the problem would have been ongoing?
