it's because I waxed my 8 and my Explorer in the last week so every morning I have recited this little chant

my car does stay outside.

at home my garage is so packed that no cars can fit in there. at my gf's, there's no covered parking at her apartment complex.

and rain doesn't entirely clean off a car :p. as dirty as my car is, the water doesn't bead off the glass or paint anymore. i think i'll get it waxed next time i get it washed.
