so how high is your new sales tax going to be on April 1? I find it ironic that a big change is going to happen on April's Fools....like at the end of the day they are all going to scream....hahahahaah, April Fools.

keith: I agree, maybe they did that because California's new 'budget' is a COMPLETE JOKE.
Cesar: I don't even want to know HOW in the world you found that. ALTHOUGH, seeing as how it's in Lake Havasu, we might have to check it out at this year's Tri-State Meet

...but is it up and running today? Casey, Scottie and I spent most of Saturday pulling wires trying to get the AEM engine management up and running. The goal was to get it together and get the car to at least idle and get set up all the things the new system was going to run. I left at 10:30 last night and Scottie was still running wires and hooking up sensors. I doubt any engine idling was done last night. Hope things went well.....next event is this coming weekend.
Casey is calling this version of the car, Miata version 3.0.
Miata 1.0 car as we had it with just those first couple mods
Miata 2.0 car as it was recently with some substantial modifications to everything we could do.
now this....with engine management.
I think version 4.0 will either be turbo'd, or have an engine with rotors (maybe even turbo'd or supercharged)
...we can all dream, right
I told Casey I don't think I could drive something that fast right now....still learning now with what we have.

in the past we all got our own food and met at the drive in before it opened. as soon as they opened we just parked next to each other. i think we got their around 6:30? anyone want to correct me?
no. i work on windows servers all day.
i hate my job cuz i've been doing this for too long and am sick & tired of it. the monotony, the stress, the repetition etc.
i think people who love their jobs are the ones who are truly blessed in life, since we have to spend like 90% of our time working.
adulthood is way over-rated.

loren: I'm actually NOT very excited about him joining Mazda. The VW lineup is sooooo bland. Too round, too much chrome, too plain. NOWHERE in their design do I see any zoom-zoom.
I'm sure if we have a SevenStock (which signs are pointing towards NO) then he'll probably make a guest appearance.

no SS!? we must make our own meeting then. i agree VW's do look better now then in the past but mazda's are deffinitly better looking besides the new happy smile bumppers.
with the new tail lights on the 2009 rx-8's, you'd think that mazda already recruited ex-VM designers.
those look lifted right off a Passat. but, oddly, i've grown to like the way they look now- even tho i think our tail lights still look badass, and one-of-a-kind.
