So we are trygin to switch all our services over to Verizon btu i ran into a strange scnario. We currentyl have cable TV from timer warner, the signal come sinto our house, is split and then fed into each tv. only one tv has a digital box so the rest run on analog. if we are to go to Direct tv i would think the same process would apply but i am told that we need a receiver for each TV? why cant they just split the signal from the dish? Does Dish network do the same, is this protocol for Satellite TV?

Thanks peoples
you have to have a box for every TV dish is the same..
the signals that come Thru cable are diff. from satellite

Hey all just thought that I say that I am selling the 8 to my little brother and getting an 07 WRX STI. I love my 8 which is why I am letting only him have it because he will take care of her as I did. I have wanted an all wheel drive car for a while and after the test drive I have to get it but unfortunate for me I cant afford both. maybe if I win the lotto I can keep it. Anyway just wanted to update all of you.

Just sent you an email back.
BTW - I didn't quite tell you the exact samething.
Dishnetwork does have boxes that control 2 rooms at once. Not several rooms like cable, but they can do 2 rooms.

Direct TV does have multiple room receivers....so you have one box down stairs and have remotes that go to the other tvs. The box my mom has sends a HD signal to the main tv, and then analog signals to her tvs upstairs.

So, you don't need a box in every room now, but they will need to run a cable, or at least connect to what you already having runing upstairs.

The benefit of having one box is less rental fees because they typically charge you 5 bucks per unit that you have.

Here is a F'd uip thing about Direct TV, just found it out this week when we were tyring to call customer service for a Movie we purchased. They fricken charge you now to speak with a person. 5 bucks to speak to a human, and 2 bucks to get your question answered via their automated computer.....yeah, not joking.

That was the route I originally wanted to go back in 04 when I bought my 8, I just couldn't afford the insurance on the Sti or the Evo 8.....car was the same monthly payments, but insurance was doubled on the AWD hotness.

Here's the finished beast...you may have seen the earlier pic I posted when I was just working on the wide body, now here is the finished car with all the sponsor decals and a dragon design I got off of a drift car I saw online.

The Evo is nice. I think that would be a hard choice. I was looking at getting a BMW M3. Those also look like a fun car. I heard that Mazda is looking to do a RX-9. I want to wait until I hear more about that.

don't need stock rubber but I am going to need some new Toyos very soon. (in a different size... hint hint, wink wink....)

Anyone know a good place to get them? I ordered my last set from EdgeRacing.com but they're out of business so now I have to scramble to find another distributor who doesn't want to charge me an arm and a leg.

I find the best deal online, then print out the whole order form including shipping cost.
Then go down to Americas Tire and they will match the price

yeah, but problem is I don't want America's tire company to mount them and their price includes all of that nonsense.
hmmm.... decisions decisions.

If not Americas Tire, then who

Our local A.T. uses padded/rubberized sockets and hand torques. That seems pretty good to me
