the sooner we leave, the better as we'll beat traffic up, and traffic down.
ideally speaking i'd want to leave (from the city) at 12pm (noon) at the latest. this departure time is fine for any activity we choose.
if we leave at 12pm, we'll get to our destination around 12:30pm (assuming no traffic)

yes, i went last week, it was lightly snowing, so we didnt go all the way up, but the plan is walk to the waterfall, then drive up to the lifts, and take the lifts up to the top of the mountain. should still be plenty of snow for us to frolic in.
