Remember the wheels I wanted? (I know speed remembers them) Well, apparently they've been discontinued so they're becoming IMPOSSIBLE to find. This sucks, here I am with Cash in Hand (so to speak) but I can't find anyone who has them.

Checked with Japanparts: they are the ones who told me they were D/C
Checked with Lazi: confirmed the D/C status, wheels replaced with Advan T5 (which I dont like)

I'm checking with a few other wheel distributors around the country right now...SOMEONE has to have a set lying around, right????

lol... yeah, my car is a little fast... but casey, its like any car... you just have to learn how to drive it..... i have nio problems cruising around town.... grantid, every so often, i go a little too far, and the blow off valve lets me know but after a while, the daliy drivability is just as easy as it was

went back to tuning tech. yesterday and had all my fluids changed to redline fluid(tranny, transfercase, 2 diffs), and they had some "special" additives that they added as well...

i also went and got my rear alligned..so there are no remnents of my small accidente' anymore

 

wow, resale on rx-8's is really, really bad i guess...

 

who cares! Resale value on a car only matters when you're ACTUALLY selling your car. It's like checking your investments and seeing that your Google stock is down 10% month to date. WHO CARES, your'e not selling so technically you haven't lost a thing.

I'm sure we'll all sell our cars eventually but life's too short to be worrying about that now.

 

I know Jesse, i made sue to state that it was in fat still streetable... you just have to be more cautious then your typical everyday car.

 

yup...same as those who say they gained so much value on their house and that it is now worth ..... same people who get upset when they see property values drop in their area....

if your moving, or planning on moving it matters...otherwise, who cares.
