On the other hand mp5 has one good day at the Atwater tour, then falls apart at the pro and gets skirted as usual.

So far, I'm not liking pro solos very much.
Good thing is, since I'm still n00bish I'm not expected to win anything... unlike the "national champion". hehe

Must suck to know you have peaked at 27.
I don't care for Prosolo myself. I prefer the tour format. The pro you only have to be quick for 2 out of 12 runs. The tour you have a 1 in 3 shot each day that you must nail.

Possible RX8 Cup Trophy
I was thinking of something like this for the RX8 Cup winner from each event. I would front the money on this, the winner would be able to hold the trophy for the month between events. The winner would bring the "cup" to the next event, when we would then compete again for it.
Fastest time wins the cup.
At the end of the season, the "cup" would return to me (afterall, I bought it, right)...
so what yah think.

i think we could always use the one I have sitting in my house from a blown up motor I pulled apart.
this would mean you dont have to buy one..... unless you wanted to find a reason to buy one.

Nope, just looking for something to make the experience better...not looking for reasons to spend money. If you are willing to offer your trophy up for the season, that would be cool. If I was to buy one, I was going to ask if you would want to put vinyl on it...something like "RX8 Cup" or something like that.
Oh, and on the issue of not spending money, I now have my race tires and they are ready to go.

That explains the eagerness to have a trophy and compete against Casey for time.
You guys better hope Fast Jason doesn't show up.

You can always get one of these for the trophy.

yup, looked at those, but then I saw the shipping costs...wow.
Atkins rotary has just a rotor with a clock, but still is quite pricey.
Fast Jason, Cone Jason (formerly slow Jason. He's fast now, but still hits the cones), the more the better. I think we have a good sized group now. It is good to have the pros there to show you how it's done, and then let all the small folks fight for the trophy...

I am going to wait for the Enkeis to be delivered to Goodwin. The Enkei wheels are the best price for what you get....sizing/weight/price. I will mount 285's on those. I have the 245's on the OEM rims for now. I figure Erica and I can get our practice on race tires with the 245's for pretty much this season. Should be able to get the bigger tires and Enkeis when they come in. As for the 285's, they are available. The person I spoke with initially really doesn't deal in race tires, so he was just giving me some BS, trying to sell me different tires I didn't want.

Which stock wheel? There are two vendors for the RX8 wheel and they both come in at different weights. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...d=1#post810966

Wondering if Erica or Mischelle have received their Cal Club numbers yet. RX8 cup is coming up shortly.
Casey, Still need to make those smaller magnets...maybe Sunday?
Looks like Denward (Ghost) will be joining us the 27th, so should be a big group of 8's that weekend.
Jason (MP5), you still planning on running in BSP that weekend with us?
Wonder if Toca is still alive. I'm gonna send him a pm to see if he has time to run with us as well.
